Cliché is like bread. It can be criticized as inessential or outdated. But at the end of the day, if your hungry. Eat the bread that’s being offered to you (in this video). Its healthy. We all still eat bread. Without it we starve. Thanks for this video by the way! 🇺🇸
I just started self-teaching web development and made the big mistake of going on Reddit and comparing myself to others who apparently learned HTML and CSS quicker than me. While watching your video I came to this realization ~ I will do it at my own pace and enjoy the journey. This is what life is all about. Thank you.
You're right. You ARE my favorite developer. Powering through Odin myself. Your videos are beyond inspiring. I'll be joining you in the field soon enough.
I recently transitioned from one helpdesk role to another helpdesk role and I am definitely experiencing it. Everyone is tenured and knows our system extremely well, but I'm still in my training period and I'm really struggling with myself. I know I can do the work and shine, but I find myself in this weird grey area where I doubt myself. I know it'll take time and I need to respect the process, but the process can be difficult, especially in tech.
I have been in my first analyst position for a month and they asked me to write 2 stored procedures my first week. I was thinking what the hell is that lol.
@@Joker-jz9cn imposter syndrome for the win. I googled some things and they had an example for me to follow. So I figured through it. I will say the good side about working from home is not having some helicopter you. The bad dude is you have to be extremely self motivated.
Everybodys almost forcing us to feel like imposters., lol i've never fucking felt like an imposter., and i probably should have., but then i say fuck no I can do this I effin deserve to be here after all these hours sleepless nights., I can do this. Now am so happy am wired like this

I'm experiencing imposter syndrome right now at my internship, but I use it as motivation to learn more and to work harder 👍🏾

Glad I could help, good luck!
Excellent video man. Don't compare your chapter 2 to someone else's chapter 20.
Very well said.

That's great, how far are you into The Odin Project?
@@VagnerMA not too far. Near the end of the Flexbox section. It's kicking my butt a little bit. I need more practice.
I wish I knew about this 3 years ago but its never too late to learn things like this
Thank you for the word of encouragement. I really needed it.

Go easy one yourself, and be your biggest cheerleader! It wont solve all your problems, but it'll help keep you able to face them.
Right when I needed it. Thanks 🤝🙏
Thanks for the video
