Even the radio host, Julio G, mentions Compton when the song "Hood Took Me Under" by Compton's Most Wanted is playing. So if Rockstar gets away with real life location, I think they'd get a pass with real life gangs. Plus you have GTA V's radio West Coast Classics, in which a lot of songs by ex-gang members are played (C-Walk, What Would U Do, Dollaz + Sense) EDIT: Even the host of West Coast Classics says "I'll C-Walk in the studio" C-Walk is something performed by Crip gang members.
