      @@BlackJesusAF Dude realistically if you're fat get on the treadmill, bike, or jog. If you want results you have to achieve them yourself.
      If you're stupid, study. It isn't hard to understand the law of practice. You suck at testing so take practice tests, write down areas of improvement, and study.
      Do the work yourself and if you pass at MEPS it would be because YOU earned it!

      Believe it or not this program cost a ton of money, not only do they need to pay teachers to come in a teach, but they pay the trainees while they are attending this program and if you don’t pass within the 3rd cycle you become a hold over and sit there till you can go home and you get paid till the day you leave that gets expensive if you think about it

    I heard this program was made permanent, and I love it. Going forward, we should put this course out in the field in multiple locations and let the folks all over try it. Perhaps run an initial "challenge" with no obligation, like the Army's own Tough Mudder. Challenge: take the ASVAB and PT test and something that involves teamwork like a Leadership Reaction Course. With medals/prizes given. This would be so much visibility, fun, and get the young folks interested. We could even have... okay, never mind... I could go on all day... I have many ideas, but resourcing them is another thing, right?. Of course, you could call on us veterans and retirees to volunteer. Most of us miss working with troops and would do so in a heartbeat, even as a volunteer.

    • @RealDiddy

    I was on this course, it is more difficult than the basic training itself. Everything depends very much on drill sergeants, if you get into the bad ones, they will physically break you. Some companies do not allow the exchange of information and there is no time or opportunity to study after class. just a prison DO NOT RECOMMEND! if there is an opportunity not to go to this program, then don't go. you must understand that if you go, your basic training will be 4-5 months (time in the program is on average 2 months and sometimes 3)

      You will get a 99% waiver if you fail the exam three times, but it may take 2.5-3 months + 10 weeks of basic training + specialty. It will be a long way, you have to understand...

    This looks like a tremendous program. Is there a system in place to track the graduates afterwards? I’d hope that Big Army would track pass rates and performance in Initial Entry Training, UCMJ actions in units, types of discharges, reenlistment rates, and pursuit of higher education during and after their Army service. My best guess is that these graduates will do well at staying out of trouble and earning Honorable Discharges, simply because they appear to be more grateful for their Army opportunities that their peers might be. Just a guess.

    TO ANYONE DOING THE FUTURE SOLDIERS PREPARATORY COURSE:
    Please study every day even before you go! Going over the basic in Math, English and Paragraph Comprehension will save you more time to study the material in school instead of playing catch up when you get there! Do not feel embarrassed to start from even the 5th grade level! It's better to be know what's right instead of "GUESSING" what's right! #GOARMY

      The Future Soldier Program prepares recruits for Basic Combat Training (BCT) and takes place between the time you enlist to when you ship to BCT. You'll work with your Recruiter to complete tasks and conduct physical fitness in this program.

    Don't do this program, stay home and score the required score or get in shape if you have to, I'm not being an A-hole trust me you're going to hate life and your not really taking amy steps forward, get in shape or get the correct score and then go to basic the right way, it's not worth it.

    • @bruceborden8606

    • @Only2Genders
      @Only2Genders 4 месяца назад +1

      It's a different experience for everybody, when I first got there I definitely hated it but in the end it literally helped me out so much to prepare me for basic training because they treat it just like basic training minus the basic training aspect. You'll wake up every morning do PT go to school go to Chow go back to school go back to Chow and then have personal time until 9:00. You'll still do fire guard and drill sergeants are still going to treat you like shit. It's honestly what you make of it if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't go through the program but I'm glad I did

      @@filmforgatas Nah dude its project 100 000 all over again. They're just another Army experiment to see if a second version of project 100 000 improves on the first by "additional education to the IQ deficient" and see if they can build a soldier from that.
