Exactly, and all the other art they used for the fan vote was taken from existing material. The Fright Zone concept looked almost identical to the vintage playset, and the Attak Trak and Horde Tank were lifted straight out of the cartoon. So fans expected that if those won the vote they would be accurate to the source material, and so naturally the Snake Lair playset concept art was viewed in the same way.
Yep, I hope it's not too late in the process to at least meet the fans who voted for it halfway, 1) REARRANGE just the front face of the playset to look EXACTLY as the Fang-Or and Lady Slither box art (and concept art) showed it as. 2) ADD that muck sea serpent, that's in front of the Snake Lair, from the Fang-Or box art. The people love creatures. Moat monster is life! 3) TOSS the elevator side of the playset in the trash but keep the vehicle and provide cheap turned-to-stone versions of heroic warriors and snakemen repaints until the whole thing feels like it's worth 300+ bucks to backers.
Excellent ideas! The elevator gimmick doesn't flow with the playset imo. The face area would have to be updated at minimum to match the concept for me to back it, honestly. Even still, it's not a want as much as a need to complete the line.
The mondo motu 200x line is amazing hope they will complete the roster, emiliano stalucia said on pixel dan it may cost 100$ below each figure and each wave will be 3 characters
They presented a different snake lair, too large new variant lady slither that we dont need, but the rattle trap is ok, they should have stayed with concept art

I was trying to make the case that everything is paid, even people working. That's not turning a profit. If it goes over the number needed to cover everything, then you make a profit. I should have gone deeper into that. I think you set the numbers needed, 6k backers, for example, cover everything to get it to the customers door. If more get on board, then you turn a profit off a crowdfund. Imo.
The Lady slither playsets that they showed at Eternia choice was beautiful and the one that they showed at the sdcc Is very ugly I didn't like it at all I participated in the Eternia origins playsets project and I am not going to participated in this project It Is very big and exaggerated it looks nothing like the one shown in the Eternia choice $300 is very expensive for a simple playsets that does not have any electronic mechanism I am a super fan Of Motu I am not going to participated in this project
