I can't wait to go back to the Bin again. Just to see some of the details that I overlooked. You did a great job capturing the details on the video that I don't remember seeing. Lydia and I enjoyed watching it.
After all my miles and nights on the trail in Michigan. Bin walkin was the best, kreed was such a good host. Buck and Jenny are nice too. They are now forever friends to me and some of the nicest trail angles. They have nothing but love and the deepest passion for the trail and the hickers that travel it. I was the first person to stay in 2024 ( trailhawk ) and I was thankful for it. Not only because its coolest shelter on the nct and apt, but buck shared so much knowledge of the trail and hardships of long distance hikes, plus I also made friends with some the great thru hikers that came before me like rue, soda and dosu the name a few. I will never forget my stay there and can't wait to return one day to start a thru hike of the nct from there but untill then,I hope to visit soon. I mean I still have a pair of old stinky boots for my Michigan section hike for the outhouse. Thanks again to buck, Jenny and kreed. I can put it in to words how much it meant to me and i'll never forgot my weekend stay. 5/5 stars would do again..Glad you got to experience it and congratulations and you accomplishment on the trail. Stay safe and enjoy the trail.
Such kind words about Bin Walkin. I'll make sure they see this. :) They really are the best hosts. Buck was so helpful with our recent backpacking trip in the UP too. He got out his personal maps from hiking that section and helped us figure out where to camp along the way. Such a heart for hikers for sure.
It's not right on the trail, it's about 2 miles to the east near 64th street in Alto (south of Lowell). Bin Walkin has a FB page you can check out for more info. They love having NCT hikers stay there and even just stop by to visit and check out the bin if you contact them through their page. :)

Another dot connected. Go you!!
Nice Bin!! That was definitely the truck we rode in... he definitely was our trail angel that night!😇 that section was hilly!
I thought that was the truck. LOL! Good times getting stuck in the dark. Thanks, All Trails app. haha!
Thank you for your video's supporting the NCT. And you gave a great review of our Bin-Walkin
Well, it was a great place to stay, and you do wonderful things for the NCT!

What a great tour! I must have walked by this while hiking. What's the closest intersection?
