Cookie cutters are so addictive, they are life!! I just can't get enough of them theyre like Pokemon you have to catch em all lol Thats a great idea to organize them!!ANd they air dry!!
So glad you enjoyed it, Sarah! Yes--when we were looking at houses, I chose the option of having a second kitchen and a smaller dining area. Still stand by that decision haha.
For your piping tips o have two suggestions (both snaffled from other people!): 1. I saw someone use a cotton reel/cotton thread holder. Looked cool and you can label/see each nozzle etc. 2. Someone else made their own custom trays using foam board, cutting out circles to place the tips in. (It was pretty labour-intensive though!) I’m thinking of doing a mashup of the two: Getting some small-ish wooden dowels (or thin cake dowels?) and drilling 10mm holes for the dowel into foam board and lying them flat in a drawer. It’s easy to creat spacers out of foam board, to stack a few layers in a drawer too. Not sure yet!! Oooh! If you have any suggestions for how to organise and store flat pack cookie/cake/cupcake boxes of all different sizes so that they’re very quick to grab and not a mess/stacked on TOP of each other, that would be fabulous! Thanks Ashley! 🤗🤗 xx
Thanks so much for the tips, Cheryl! Yes--I will share what I come with for those pesky boxes in varying sizes. I have some ideas in mind, but it takes me forever to execute them haha
@@SweetDreamsBakeShoppe no worries; it’s called “Magpie-ing” at school, here in the uk. (I’m also a teacher.) Definitely need those box storage hacks, girlie! I can sometimes take my time getting around to things too so not to worry; whenever you have time! xx
hi! Love your videos, they're so helpful and interesting. I was wondering, how do you do delivery? I am wondering if there is a better way of delivering other than at a starbux parking lot? Thanx!
Just a suggestion! I use A sewing organizer for different threads I have three of them very easily put on the wall or it comes with a stand at Walmart here in the states it’s only $11 I wish we could share pictures !
Awesome video Ashleigh!! If you don’t mind can tou answer a couple of my couple questions? Awhile ago you said that you bulk for certain ingredients, where do you buy them form? Also do you really need to go to baking school to be a baker? And can you make Compotes from frozen fruit or should you make it from fresh? Is there a difference in taste? How do you colour Macarons?
Hi there! I buy my ingredients from various places: Costco, Superstore, online, etc. I didn't go to school to be a baker--I think if I were specializing in pastries I would do so, but I don't think it's a must when it comes to cake decorating. A lot of cake decorators learned through apprenticeships rather than formalized schooling! I always make compotes from whatever is available. More often than not that means I'm using frozen fruit. I don't notice any difference once everything is rendered down. For colouring macarons, I usually use powdered or gel food colouring. If I want it really dark and punchy I will go for powdered so it doesn't change the composition too much. Hope that helps!
Oiy! I hate the corner cupboards! It is so difficult to get into the end of them. I solved that problem when I redid my kitchen. I had corner cabinets installed and I added a appliance garage underneath that. On the bottom corner I had another corner cabinet with a carousel put in. What a difference. It looks great and is sooo much easier. I need easier access because I had 3 back surgeries and can't do the contortions it can take to dig in! lol Your 2nd kitchen looks gorgeous though!
I feel your struggle! I went from being a hobby Baker to starting an at home business and I'm having a hard time organizing! I have a huge pantry, but it's meant for my family's use! Lol also what website do you use for boxes, cake boards... Those consumables?
Question: I’m needing to purchase another stand mixer. Is there one that you suggest that can handle single batch as well as double batch of cookie dough as well as bread dough? I currently have an older Kitchen Aid but the motor is giving out. :(
2:02 i did something similar with my mom for bathroom supplies and we used an old bed board. small bunk bed board. like what is inside the bed to hold up the mattress. Somehave relatively good spacing inbetween each row (1 inch in between each row for us). and it costed nothing because we basically took it out of a bed frame we were no longer using and hooked baskets onto them to store stuff. also, the separate kitchen for baking stuff is ultimate goalssssssssssssssssss
Hi dear..just started watching ur videos frm winnipeg♥️ ...learning alot..could you plz provide some of the info where to buy difrnt sprinkles in bulk and mold silicone supply..any online store you would suggest...thankyou for making these videos for cake beginners ...stay blessed♥️
Thank you! I would say about 6 months after opening. When they get that weird old smell I toss them out. They’ll never “go bad” in terms of actual food safety it’s more like the declination of their quality.

Love it! I always watch your organization videos when I need the motivation to clean up my pantry!
Yes--I personally make the video so I'll ACTUALLY clean it haha
Lazy Susan's are key to getting the most of that space in the corner cabinets.
LoveLoveLove the slat wall!!! I use a cork board because I don’t like peg board~ this is lovely !
Thanks so much, Karren! I have a peg board in my craft room, but I much prefer the slat wall for sure too :)
Greta organization defiantly will be getting a cookie cutter wall! Those cookies look great

I just subscribed and now theres a new video out- the timing!
Luv your Baking space!! I wish I could have a cookie wall but it's too dusty where I live.
Thanks so much! Yeah--I was worried about the dust, but I'm going in and out of the kitchen so much that luckily nothing collects on there

How long do sprinkles last? Great wall organization.
