Same, I was unemployed and lost in 2010. It was a very rough time for recent college grads with limited experience to find a job. I’m glad I went through that experience though, helped shaped me who I am today and makes me more appreciative about where I’m at now.

As a longtime listener of TCAF, WAYT? and Animal Spirits, I have to say that 40+ minutes of Michael's origin story, especially his candor and him peeling back the curtain on what makes him tick was some of the best stuff yet. The Blackberry dying and looking up to see Josh in front of him - what an epic moment of destiny! Thanks for bringing Jill on board. Looking forward to 2024 with The Compound!

I just finished watching your latest episode with Jill, and I must say, it was nothing short of inspirational. I’ve been an avid follower since 2022, I truly appreciate all that you do.
Thank you for consistently providing us ‘Pounders’ with not just invaluable insights, but also a wealth of laughter, and the opportunity to see & learn from some of the most brilliant minds out there. The life stories and lessons shared, like your recent one with Jill, are truly motivating and aspirational.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you! Your authenticity and the stories you share are greatly appreciated. Keep being amazing!

dark times, while rough, are opportunities to change your life. I remember being dead broke and being an empty shell of a human making minimum wage. I studied my ass off by myself and became a software engineer and making more money than I could ever dream of just 5 years ago. Had I moaned and complained about life rather than taking action, I wouldn't be where I am today. Batnick's story is incredibly motivating and hoping everyone has a great 2024

Michael I sold Insurance for over a year after college. Paying a monthly fee as well and no salary. I didn't last that long and have sold office furniture for 33 years and still haven't had a salary. it's the best lesson I ever learned and that fear has made me incredibly successful. best lesson i ever learned.

Been watching The Compound since close to the beginning. Josh was the big draw in the beginning and Michael was the reason I almost stopped watching. Flash forward to today and Michael is the main reason I watch the show. The two have great chemistry and loads of insight. Solid interview. Shows you the power of mentors. The world could use more of them. I’m 43 just left a 25 year career in the food industry and need just that. Following finances the past 5 years has keep me sane. Love the interview and Michale’s constant humility.
