This game is the essence of the 1993/1994 Bulls - they played unselfishly and received contributions from everyone. After a rough couple weeks to open the season, they really hit their stride in December and January. 6:30 = two short years later, they'd be cheering Rodman.
The way they played Houston and San Antonio in 1993-94 is telling of how the 94 Bulls and 99 Bulls with Jordan, Pippen, Grant, Kukoc or Rodman, Kukoc and Cartwright/Longley/Wennington/Williams or Longley/Wennington/Simpkins/Kleine/Lang could have done vs Houston in a 1994 NBA Finals and a 1999 San Antonio vs Chicago NBA Finals.
People forget how close he was to being out of the nba at this point. While Rodman was still a great defender and rebounding, he was a massive distraction at this point. Once he left Detroit no coach could handle him. And most didn't want to deal with his bs either. That is exactly why the bulls got him for a steal a year and a half after this game. Phil was able to control Rodman, by letting him do whatever he wanted off the court. As long as he came to play every night.
It was an absolute joke that Phi Jackson was not coach of the year this season. The Bulls won nearly the same number of games the previous season after MJ retired.

Rodman is pure entertainment. Can't help but love him.
For a second he thought "I'm so pissed of, I'm going to boomerang this board off somebody's head."

1996-98 Rodman was A-OK
MJ should of stick to basketball, not baseball. Baseball is not the game for him.
