Just started my 4th semester of Mandarin in college, I'm not sure what HSK level i'm at but I could easily answer all of the HSK 4 questions shown in the video but haven't even encountered some of the characters in the explanations yet. So I think you're correct in that the explanations in the app may be too advanced for the level of material.
Congrats on the 20k subs. I'm still prepping for HSK4, so it's a really great review for me :) So far I've found grammar guides lacking from places like Nincha
What’s interesting is that this app’s lifetime subscription is so much cheaper than the other Chinese app with lifetime or 12 months subscription. I’ve been trying to learn Chinese and most apps keep you behind a subscription wall when you get to a certain point, so seeing how cheap this app is I’m thinking of doing the lifetime.
@@putrimanuela9265 Correct, life time means a one time payment for everything. Though make sure you have your log in info, in case you get too busy the app will log you out after x months due to inactivity.
Could you do a video on an academic document from English to chinese and say how percentage Google translate is to you as a native speaker? You are super awesome!!!!
I don’t think apps are good for pronunciation or speaking. The technology is not good enough🥲 You can try to find a language partner to hear what a native sounds like
@@ABChinese For complete beginners I'm sure there might be some solution you found "better" when just starting out ..like in my case. There is no guarantee that just by hearing a native speaker you can truly hear everything. There are many foreigners that might be immersed in a country for decades and their pronunciation is still filled with a lot of elementary pronunciation mistakes/bad habits. There is no guarantee you can reproduce it identically to the native speaker unless that speaker has specialized training to teach you how to do it thru his feedback. And I don't have the resources to pay legitimate experts. Native speakers are fine to hear to at least not learn bad habits but those native speakers are just as clueless as you in transferring precisely the skillet of almost native pronunciation unless they have highly specialized training for that task.
I actually started with hsk online and purchased the lifetime sub. I love the app but now I’m liking super Chinese ever better😢. More money to spend 😢🥲

Would be interested in seeing a video about your suggestions and how they implemented them!
Hi. They have added pop up definitions now

Yeah, it's not much of a difference from the annual subscription!
if I choose life time subs, it means i don't need to pay it again even though 2 years have passed?

Tones and characters are definitely hardest part about chinese
I’ve only practiced speaking and I can understand the audio part but I have no idea about the characters in the first part 😂
What app do you think is the absolute best for Chinese pronunciation?
