i like it but if that flyer stays to long it can possibly peel the paint or leave glue marks and maybe then the call wont be so pleasant what is ur insight on that
@@TheRealQuoteOasis people will shew ypu out for any reason. Honestly i dont see a big deal, the worst that cqn hqppen is you repaint the door. Hopefully that problem is one out of 3000 you throw out.
Personally, I would be pissed if someone stuck something on the door. I would rather the door hanger. Someone left a door hanger on our door and we actually called for water softening service. But, that just my opinion & experience. I really appreciate you sharing your experience and results. It would have been awesome to hear your ROI and the percentage of calls & sales. Thanks!!
Ha, it ran through my mind just because I googled it before seeing this comment. But, I'd give the stickers a good run in middle to upper neighborhoods definitely from my perspective.
Absolutely LOVE that you test and research everything, terrific business head! Does anyone have an idea of where to check what's allowed and not allowed in different locations? One of my coworkers told me it is illegal to stick anything to a door or window
I can see what you’re getting at because, the amount of time that a customer is going to look at the door hanger is less than zero seconds. But would your presenting forced to look out because it takes time to take it off?
Where can get these from I have a home improvement company and I would like to switch over from the traditional door hangers to these so what is the website or the name of the company I can create and buy them from
Do the sticker and door hanger say the same thing? If they don't, your results could have been the wording, rather than the vehicle. Personally, I feel less imposed upon by a door hanger. Something stuck onto my door is going to be messier to deal with (sticky), so less likely to make me want to keep it. I am right now hanging onto a door hanger because I like the message and design. I have it where I can see it and remember to buy the product when the time is right.
People talking about complaining about glue on their doors but i bet you dont complain when fedex places their we missed you sticker on your door because you dont want that package. To the ones in field making it happen, i tip my hat to you! And for everyones information, it doesn't have to be glue...sheeesh
I need help getting my company back off the ground. Fielder Contracting LLC is the company name. Can you please help me in choosing the right marketing on a budget? I drive around and see lots of potential work. I've watched almost all the videos they are helpful but how do I really put them to work for me? Please help! , Phil from St.louis,Mo.
Perhaps Minuteman Press have a special adhesive. I think one should be careful sticking cards to windows, walls and doors. I would be irate if it left any redue on my home that I would have to clean up.
You are totally wrong the last thing you want its get a owner to sue you with the crazy excuse that your sticker peal the door paint or blame you for a window damage so it better to stick with the old school than your "profesional " look stickers trust me theres people that with actually sue you for the things that i just point to you
Another aspect differentiating the two is a subtle psychology trick. The door hanger is old marketing and can be "yanked" off, the sticker causes someone to "take care" in taking it off to be safe in not taking off paint or leaving sticky paper behind. That act of "taking care" creates some perceived value, also, that slight extra time that the flyer is in their hands creates ownership. The two together give a definite advantage to the sticky flyer. The downside is if your sticky is too aggressive and leaves paper stuck to the property it can come across as vandalism and that REALLY pisses people off.
These comments say it all. Door Hangers remain kind... stickers are out! The impression of the customer and their emotion and risk of upset/no call or even retaliation is not worth it. Nice thought.... but no
All I see is more unwanted advertising to throw in the trash. I guess the people who respond to this are the same people who don’t immediately press ‘skip’ on RUclips advertising. I just don’t see how it works. You need to hire a new editor, btw. lol
Seems like the guy is selling these stickers. Do not agree . The paint will come off while the message is still the same . What did you sell with the sticker? More stickers ? More roofs ?
I think over time it could take off but people would have to get desensitized to it. Well put it this way. If someone was looking for your service they would work great. If someone doesn’t want it they will be more pissed with the sticker. But they won’t do shit so who cares about the ones that don’t want your service?
Yeah but some neighborhoods you cannot do solicitation so people don't want you at their door at all. I leave the door hangers on the mailbox and i will see who calls me back
That just happened to me, an upset home owner called, we had to go back out and remove sticky residue with goo gone...but yeah, it does work and will continue using but will place sticker somewhere else other than door
Did you have the stickers made online or local?
Local minuteman press did it for us, but they are national franchise and most of offices should be able to make it
@@RoofingInsights3.0 do they have a website?
I’ve learned through my own experiences that most people do not appreciate things being taped to their door.

I doubt it, the glue is like sticky note glue and it wont damage it.

We use removable glue dots. Comes off cleanly without any residue. Will not harm surfaces.
there's not many people that want to help you make money your great man
The sticker could easily be also mistaken for mortgage payment or eviction notice lol😊
depends on what your life expereince is. that never crossed my mind because i dont have mortgage issues i guess.
lol🤣

What company did you use to get those doors stickers? They look awesome
I'm watching every video, and you physical conditions changed a lot from 4 years ago to today. - Great videos.
I would think customers would be worried that the sticker may damage their door, but the stickers are quicker to distribute
Absolutely LOVE that you test and research everything, terrific business head! Does anyone have an idea of where to check what's allowed and not allowed in different locations? One of my coworkers told me it is illegal to stick anything to a door or window

He gives out hearts like halloween candy but doesn't answer important questions. I d worry about glue being left behind, paint coming off etc.

The sticker tells me someone is ok messing up my paint, or messing up my windows.
I like the idea but what if the tape pulls the paint off the door

Exactly no one‘s gonna wanna buy your junk if you’re leaving stupid residue stickers
Yes but then when someone sees the sticker and it pulls off paint you just ruined a potential customer forever.
I use removable glue dots. Non acid based, will not harm any surfaces. Comes off very clean, no residue.

I like to spray paint my phone number on their door or write in sharpie on their window...that way they think about me while they are cleaning it up.
i think it looks good; could be concerned about damage from the sticker peeling
I like those stilers
I love it! Great idea
@roofing insights Can you provide a link for these "door stickers" I've searched for weeks and haven't been able to find them.
There is no link. We print them at minutesman press, we help with design in our marketing class, but no link.
Eviction if it is taped😅 plus liability for tape messing up paint, just believe in whatever you do..
Great advice!
How much did minute man quote you? They are telling me it’s gonna be over $1200 for 1000 of them or $750 for 500 door hangers with stickers
