The Orleans is one of my favorite casinos. I think they have a great comp.system and it was the easiest place to score free drinks. :) Of course that was 4 years ago. I also loved bowling there. My buddy and I from Minnesota would simply pound drinks and bowl for hours when we needed a break from gambling.
Played couple tournaments there last month. This place is a good and tough place to play at. Didn't manage to cash there but did cash at the mgm a few times and the Wynn
Thanks for taking my advice and making the icons/cards bigger. You can eliminate "Tournament and No Limit Holdem.lol. would be nice if you included number of entries and number remaining. GL.
J10 bluff at that level of the tournament is unnecessary, it’s an easy check fold on that flop if guy bets. Keep your bluffs to early levels , final levels of tournaments u just play 88+ & AJs+ like top 15 hands & fold everything else. That bluff crippled your stack & forced you to go for push-fold
@@JeffBoski lol bluffs are bad depending on stage of the tournament, stack size & everything . You make that bluff early levels , no one cares as u can rebuy. You make that late levels when u have more than average stack , u are screaming for Exit , like there will be 10 short stacks with 2-6 BBS & several small stacks & you just want to Exit before them all ??
Good video Boski Thanks for the live tournament content, always served with foodporn, excellent sarcasm/humor and really good quality on thoughts made in the hands Just SO undeserved that other vloggers with very inferior content, have more viewers ???
Trips Jack's vs heart draw, footage emotional video shows 3 hearts on the board and no full house, he should of had a flaub...how did you jump to 340k?
I hate the QJos hand (ends @9:45l I think u got lucky against a bad player. Check the flop think pot control and disguised the J on a very wet board (Jh9hxs.) Even if you turn top two (which u did) it put a double flush draw and also allows for any river spade 8 or k to be priced in for stacks. For the same reason you said you're going to puke if he river jams (his hand is designed to exactly that hence a bad player), that's why the flop was a check. I think long term a "reg" is using that polarizing river with a jam and you are left with a two pair crying call. Overall great content as always and played an excellent tourney. Just that hand bothered me. #TeamRunsDeep
@@JeffBoski idk I mean you could have been limped on with KJ, AJ, J9, Q10hh (any Q 10), Xhh(holdings). A bet and polarizing turn leaves not much room for a fold after another "standard" bet line. At least a flop check under reps your holding and allows ooppnot to make bluff mistake. 70% of the time that pair is good but when navigating a field it's just standard practice to also outlast IMO. great content as always
Hey Boski, on that AQ against A10 when AAKK come on the board, a check raise jam on the river is interesting in my opinion. You are the one able to have AK, and have a slight chance of making him fold that worst Ace. Especially given the fact he looks like a competent opponent. Just a thought 😉 thx for the VLOG 👍
I love the format your videos take Jeff and the extra work you put into changing the the chip stacks after each bet is awesome :D Unfortunate loss but you work to hard to not get your first live win for this year sometime soon! P.S. I can't say for anyone else but I really appreciate it that you don't ask for subscribers, I cannot emphasize enough just how much it annoys me.. Best of luck at the tables and I hope your channels grows big as you definitely deserve it!!
Boski?!? I love Boski!!! Good time to take a break from catching up on the Lodge livestream replays from last week; always push pause on everything else when the Boski bell rings in the notifications :)
Nobody does a MTT vlog like The Boski, nobody does MTT vlogs exclusively like the Boski - TY very much. I laugh when your play is questioned, The Boski is almost never, ever, ever wrong. I used to like playing at The Orleans for the Friday night MTT when in town.
I'd like to speak for everybody... None of us like this poker replay BS. Every other vlogger has the gall to take video at the table until they're told not to. I don't understand why we would want to watch you instead of them. You were my favorite online player to watch but in person poker you can't compete with this cowardice.
Boski tuned in! I like the turn check back with AK especially after checking the flop. 99 hitting a set there could have got a lot of people's whole stack. Great bowling montage between days too. Good Luck!
I believe to maximize fold equity, with only 12BB you really don't have a stack to play three full streets. Jeff can either pick up the blinds + ante, or if he gets called, he as massive equity against a lot of hands. Boski's AJs has ~70% equity against A9s which is great, just an unlucky turn out.
But you didn't know he had A9. He could've also had AK, AQ, any pocket pair. Why not see the flop, just fold since you missed completely, and keep trying with the next hand? You still have 9 BBs which is almost the same as where you were at during this hand. You still have a chance to get a lucky flop and win a big pot if it happens to go multiway.
@@garrykimovich We didnt know he had A9 but we had a good idea of V's range. Villian with 500k opened with a min raise, folded all the way around to Boski. In this stage of the tournament, Boski (super short stacked 12BB) jammed. V's range will be pretty wide considering 1) V has 500k and is table chip leader and is able to apply pressure to everyone else 2) he only min raised, thus V's range will be more wide then usual (especially coming from MP). AJs blocks pocket aces and jacks. AJs against V's range (given how the hand played out) has great equity. Also by not jamming pre, you're giving V a chance to improve his hand. Read up on "fold equity" for a bit more information on it.
@@leanlasagne8176 My view is that Jeff has no fold equity. Everyone knows short stacked is liable to jam at any time, so when villain opens he's going to have a good enough hand to call.
