    OTOH it is a gorgeous plant. If you get underneath one that has new foliage backlit by the sun- it is a photogenic treat. Silhouettes of bugs are particularly interesting. It’s a creative hippie thing. and haven’t got poked by one yet!

    That looks pretty gnarly...my mom has 3 Devil's Tongue plants in her yard...supposedly the only ones in the state...and the needles are about 3 inches long!

    Avoid touching this. One of the most noxious plants In Alaska. I never knew anyone that liked it. Why do you think it’s called Devil’s club?!
