    Hi sir you're a Great teacher. Can I suggest if you could invest in a good quality mic? I love your videos, it would be lovely more if the audio is loud and clear.

    Great content! I picked up on a couple of things.
    One thing I've always wondered about is when I hover over the statistics, what does the bottom line (Drops) mean? An example listing has 2 per month under New, 3.3 per month under Used, and 25 per month under Sales Rank. Thanks!

      The drops for new and used refer to price drops. The price dropped that number of times (on a 90 day average) per month. The sales rank number means the number of times (on a 90 day average) per month that the sales rank number dropped. A drop usually means "AT LEAST" one sale but could mean a lot more the closer the sales rank gets to #1. More details in my Keepa course: www.fulltimefba.com/keepacourse. I'm seeing the big drops in keepa, that's means a sale and I'm in the buy box, but there's no sales

      The buy box rotates... someone else it getting the sales. Here is more on understanding how the buy box works: www.fulltimefba.com/thebuybox

    Great video. So many things that I never understood about Keepa before. But my Keepa doesn't show me all of that information. Do I have to pay for a keepa subscription to get all of that data?

    • @fulltimefba
      @fulltimefba  4 года назад +1

      Yes, some aspects of Keepa is behind a paywall. Most importantly the sales rank data, the buy box data, and the competition data. You can get all the Keepa data unlocked here: www.fulltimefba.com/keepa. It's totally worth the cost (around $18/mo).

    In your newer videos can you elaborate when you say that one drop in the sales rank graph means one or more sales? I remember, because of your information, I interpreted each drop as one sale. So for a product in the beauty category with a 90 day sales rank of 1,000, I would look at the drops button on Keepa for the sales rank and see around 300 drops and interpret that as 300 sales. That's false. A product with that rank is obviously making more than 300 sales per month. So when you touch on this in your videos, please explain how to estimate sales using Jungle Scout, Helium 10, and other sales estimators to really understand around how many sales a product is making per month. Leaving your viewers with the statement "each drop means one or more sales" can leave many questions such as, "ok, how many sales does this product make then"? And when they ask themselves that question, since you aren't elaborating on how to estimate sales after you make that statement, they go on to interpret each drop as one sale just like I did. Just a little tip so that way your viewers are fully informed and not left with unanswered questions. Thanks for the video though!

      That's why I say "one OR MORE" sales per drop. I do emphasize that it's AT LEAST one sale, and the closer you get to a smaller sales rank number, the more multiple sales that drop is expressing. Sorry if I wasn't clear, but that is what I tried to communicate. If you use a sales estimate tool, then just know it's an estimate as there is no way to know for sure that the sale number estimates are accurate.

      @@fulltimefba Yes, correct. I used to think that each drop was one sale, but not anymore. I'm just looking out for the newer folks that aren't familiar with Keepa and watch your videos because they might interpret each drop as one sale just like I did. It's good that you emphasize that each drop can be one or more sales depending on its sales rank but then, this is from the perspective of a newer person to FBA, they are left asking themselves, "okay exactly around how many sales is each drop then?" This is where I believe you should inform them about sales estimators, and once again they are just estimates, but they are a lot more accurate than having your viewers guesstimate how many sales are in each drop

    This might sound like a dumb question, but when signing up for a paid keeps subscription...do you pay in euros? I noticed they ask for euros and not usd. Is that the correct page to sign up? Sorry, this is just my first time signing up.

      when you pay for it, it automatically calculates the right cost for your own money. So you can pay in dollars instead of euros if you want.

    I always check the historical data to make buying decisions i dnt make decisions based on todays rank, i only buy products with atleast 20drop 90 days (averag under statistics) , and make sure the price dnt tank on me by looking the past 1 year buy box data and by checking the how long did it sell for the lowest price. Do yoh think there is a lot more than to learn ? That you exlain in the course ?

      That's the main 30,000 foot overview of using Keepa, but my course zooms in to multiple nuanced situations and how to best make smart sourcing decisions when things get a little more complicated than only looking at the main things you listed.
