Joey’s point about end of season schedule isn’t as great as he thinks it is. City have Villa, Brighton, and away at Old Trafford (a fixture they struggle with) in their last 10 games. Not all delaying kick-offs have been equally punished...and i get that. But I'm SO happy refs have clamped down on players delaying restarts/kicking it away. Fans that have paid the ticket price deserve more than 58mins of competitive football per game
I've got to say it. This is the most well structured and sensible convo on the City Arsenal 2-2 I've seen online. As an Arsenal fan naturally I'm disappointed to not take 3 points but stepping out of that for a second I'll say we all just want entertaining football matches and show the world the Prem is the best league in the world. 22 players were on the field who want to 'kill' each other and it was a great watch - we were robbed of this by officials, let them fly. 22:46 this is the truth. Well said
City’s record against the traditional top 6 last season was awful though, they won 3 games, drew 6 of them and lost 1 (against Arsenal) they still won the league though so taking points off each other is not essential Also joey mentioned Arsenals final couple of games for this season and last season was similar, they had to play spurs, united, Chelsea, Brighton they beat them all and conceded 2 goals
Arsenal's end to this season is far, far easier compared to last season. Last season, they had Spurs, Villa, Utd, City, Brighton, in their last 10 games. This season it's only Liverpool.
"in which he was petulant" Trossard was not kicking the ball away, he looks up and spots Martinelli making a run and he's playing him through. That whole incident was allowed because Oliver delayed his whistle and by the time he blew it, Trossard was getting on with it.
Im 7 minutes in and this was such a refreshing POV on the game from the boys. Regardless of peoples opinions, this rivalry is great for the game. I agree its been pretty sterile in the past few years. Its outsider fans (Not City or Arsenal) making a bigger deal about it.
I mean city right now is not at its strongest, the defense needs work since last season tbh. Foden needs to start working again. And gundogan is still missing chances. B. Silva is not that good atm. There is still a lot of missing pieces in man city that are not working well yet imo. And guardiola defo needs to change up histactics against lowblocks
the problem with that argument is that City even when they're apparently under performing, they continue to pick up points. When it comes to the crunch they step up a gear and blow everyone away. Fergie was never too concerned about a slow start in the league, what wins it is at the turn of the year when you just keep winning. City have got that about them
Why is everyone arguing"my players shouldn't have to obey the rules because it's a big game!". The rules are the rules, and Trossards original challenge was basically a yellow anyway. Also, sky measured the time between the whistle and the kick through a mic seemingly far out, meaning Trossard actually had more time than reported. Also he KNEW it was a foul, so he would've been expecting the whistle anyway. I don't believe for a second he didn't hear the whistle. Those are deafening and he was right next to him
Yup. Trossard was making a pass just at the same time the whistle went. Absolutely no intention to delay time... also Haaland wasn't punished for deliberately throwing hte ball in the back of the head of Gabriel
I love wenger and I think he was better than Sir rednose, but another thing he was not great at was picking keepers... after Seaman Goalkeeping was a weakness we had. Admitting i don't know this and getting someone else to make the decisions for that bit is just smart and professional.
To the people complaining about the studio, I do understand. But, the content is still very good, yes aesthetically is suffers a little bit and if you sit and have your lunch or your breakfast and watch it rather than just listen, I get it. Brian doesn’t have to sit and have a big explanation. If it comes back then cool, if not then fine.
This was a really good discussion. It's good see that fans of a number of clubs are in relative agreement. Just a lot of things with the officials that feels needless. But more so, fans were robbed of what lined up to be one of the best half's of football we've seen for a long time.
Pep just can't handle Busses filled with quality Defenders. Ancelotti saw this when he realized you can't play attacking ping pong against City. This ref is being deliberately picked because he has a style of regeering that affects games.

They even got favourable decisions like the block by Martinelli on Ederson, he only intended to stop the keep but they got away with it and scored the goal. For whatever season Arsenal in their siege mentality don't let things go and stay calm during the game. 2 times they've gotten sent of for the same thing yet aren't any bit more careful.
So you are all saying that only City should feel aggrieved by the decisions in the game????? Trossard was sent off for kicking the ball away, not the barge. Another year of City are weak narrative but come May everyone blames 115 and go to bed..lol
the problem with that argument is that City even when they're apparently under performing, they continue to pick up points. When it comes to the crunch they step up a gear and blow everyone away. Fergie was never too concerned about a slow start in the league, what wins it is at the turn of the year when you just keep winning. City have got that about them
Arsenal are not at their strongest either

He committed 2 wrongs back to back. Chelsea's game against Place, Jackson got a yellow for kicking the ball into the net past the whistle, so Arsenal whining about it doesn't make any sense.
It was timed at 0.8 seconds between the whistle being blown and Trossard kicking the ball away.
He was sent off by Michael Oliver, the same Michael Oliver who last week didn't give Szoboszlai a second yellow for kicking the ball away.
The same Michael Oliver who didn't send Kovacic off last season for two clear yellows - possibly reds - because he didn't want to ruin the game. Strangely, he couldn't wait to ruin the game on Sunday.

14:09 Not true! The goal was scored at 97:15 just seconds before the commentator confirmed he received news the game will go onto minimum the 99th minute 🤷♂️
As an arsenal fan, this guy has said everything we feel in this video. I salute you brother
Citeh players were rattled throughout the match because they still thought this was Arsenal from 4 years ago. The future is now old man lol
Yap yap yap Liverpool are winning the league mate ✌🏾
He clearly kicked the ball away after clattering into Silva. I don't get why you guys are justifying it
CHO got a yellow card for doing what rice did, not one complaints from Forest, not one mention of it in the media, no the PGMOL is a disgrace but every team is so desperate to stop City winning the league they believe Arsenal should have special rules🤷♂️.
Where was the complaining about Timber v Spurs who should have got sent off for 2 yellows🤷♂️
Standard Arsenal fan he kicked the ball away that’s a booking end of no debate
Extra time is the minimum time. Timber was chilling for 2 minutes on the floor. Question, why is Arsenal fans carrying about like they already won the league ?
Why can’t people accept he made 2 fouls after his card and kicked the fuckin ball away
Which one of the two teams won the league in the "Battle of the bridge"
Why does True Geordie's head look like it's not attached to his body?
Not a footballing brain between them
Apart from the football, can someone tell me if the lumen sponsor really works
Raya probably had the ball in his hands for a good 10+ minutes in that second half 🤣
Cross to Martenelli? The ball went 20yds behind him, and took out the bloke in row 7 of Block 303 who was troughing his Chicken Balti pie and Ashai! 🤣🤣🤣
Arsenal fans are a joke man
Watch the game again, ball lands about 5m ahead of Nelli who stopped running while it was in the air
It lands in field and with pace Martinelli could of gotten it
These lot are really trying to delete Liverpool. New rivalry 😅 don't make me laugh
Liverpool have finished 24 points off Arsenal the last 2 seasons, and that was with Klopp. You don't lose to Forest at home and win leagues.
It's 2024, why is this show just a weekly zoom call now? 😂😂😂
This guy really ‘loves’ players running after the ref and whining? Why? Embarrassing
I find it hard to believe that Trossard didn’t know exactly what he was doing, it was such an obvious foul where he had no designs on the ball, he knew the whistle was about to blow.
player play by the whistle not by speculating if whistle gonna be blown or not, wtf are you talking, but coming from city fans then I can understand their brain level
What we need is refs that are not bought and paid for and not homers were they make decisions to please the home fans. Consistency seems to the hardest thing for refs at the moment. Look how much time we spend talking about the refs instead of the game and the players....
Personally I think toward shoulda been sent off for the foul he committed cuz that’s a yellow imo, but if the ref didn’t agree that’s fine but a yellow for that kicking the ball away nonsense is a joke. Right result wrong reason imo
guys... i was waiting for u guys for ages after the game
Best episode of the season so far lads
