    LOVE your comments on projection in the upper register. Makes me think of that classic "today's squeak is tomorrow's note."
    Definitely something I still struggle with too. Especially when playing with loud bands!

      I meant is your normal weekly routine five days of regular practice followed by a light day and then a day of rest. I’m trying to schedule some rest into my practice as I never have a day off which finds me crashing and burning after a while.

    My trumpet teacher has me do basically the same thing on higher notes ..if I can not play A above staff she has me play the octave lower ...hearing it the go up and octave to the higher A.
