Very valuable lesson as in all of the ones that you produce. It’s nice to have your thought In addition to my normal trumpet instructors and professors. Thank you for your instruction. I always look forward to your new posts.
How do you incorporate "C" Trumpet practice or Piccolo into your practice sessions? would you also practice transposition? thank you for sharing these videos I find them very helpful and motivational.
Question so when you play what are you focusing on, the sound in your head, or the sound coming out of the horn? Can you describe your oral aural concept of tone production?
I’m not really focused on the sound that’s coming out of my bell. I’m more focused on what cues and habits I need to play with that result in the sound I want.
This is a great resource for so many trumpet players. This style of video presentation is terrific!

I switch between C and Bb every other day. I don’t practice piccolo every day, I usually work on it when I have something coming up.

I like to start off with a lead pipe buzz .
I used to do quite a bit of lead pipe buzzing, but haven’t in many years.
