I’m sorry, but the references??? After listening to the rest of the album, I recognized so many Easter eggs that were just teasing what was to come. “A second try at that bitter wine I used to spit out” as a reference to Anything, Anything, Anything, the crumpled love letters on the floor like she said in St. Valentines, “Something so sick like love” like My Love is Sick, the dog and bird statues on the bookshelf??????? I’m probably even missing some. And on top of it all the song is a complete banger? She DID this. Round of applause, this song, and the album, is magnificent.

I never knew I needed this. I just went through a breakup after a year-long relationship over lies and I seriously thought this boy was it for me but I was obviously wrong.. but the line "I don't miss you, I just miss how loving you felt." REALLY hit home.
Ah sis I get it, you'll be ok! I'm over the feeling of my breakup from a year or so ago but I really miss the feeling of loving another. That was my first and only relationship, so it still feels weird to have no one by my side anymore. Wishing you the best ^^
I just got out of a breakup with the only person i've ever loved. She was the perfect person and not once did she do anything to hurt me but she got into a mental health crisis for about a week where she just destroyed every social relationship she had. I had never loved anyone before, not even my family and i generally thought i might just have issues with empathy. She was an exception but after her breaking up with me i just felt nothing anymore. I just stopped. I could suddenly no longer care for anyone at all. I could kill a person without knowing them and not feel a thing. I'm not mad im just nothing. She told me today that it was the biggest mistake she had ever made and is starting therapy and couldn't imagine living without me. I just don't love her anymore and dont feel bad for saying no but i miss the way it was. I don't miss her, i miss being able to love. I've basically become someone i would've called a piece of shit sociopath and im not sorry for it. The song made me think a lot rn.

I got into you as an artist from "Brother" but I took that and went on a spotify deep dive after that.
Every album you get better. This is such a hauntingly beautiful song and every album it's amazing how much you jump in terms of skill, composition, etc. I understand how disheartening it can be to see your fandom songs do better than your fully original work, but you have such a voice, and I am very much looking forward to seeing what you do next. Please keep composing and please keep sharing what you have with the rest of us. We are all so much better for having the things you create.

Most of her songs are because good music goes undiscovered by mainstream. We just have to enjoy it while we can before radio gets it and ruins it.
God, as someone who had their first relationship with someone almost 4 years ago. And Has been on a journey on loving my self since then and wondering when someone would notice me in that way again. Its great to hear thoses feeling in a song that if needed i could belet out when needed. The line that nearly broke me was "Cause I don't miss you, but i just miss how loving you felt" because I know that while the relationship end wasn't just my fault but both of ours. But it still hurts to look back and look at the 18 year old who was finally mentally stable and giving her everything to a boy who just disappeared after a month of being together. But I have learned to love myself more and that I should come first before anyone else.
Your songs are both poignant and warm, and always awesome. I finish them thinking, "Damn that was good".

"I don't miss you, I just miss how living you felt" That line broke me. I was stuck in a terrible relationship with someone. She was hurtful both physically and mentally and basically kept me on a leash. Was stuck with her for three years. It wasn't until like roughly Thanksgiving of 2022 where I finally put my foot down and cut ties with her. As I'm typing this, I am still single and don't have much of a desire to get back into a relationship. But I miss the feelings and emotions that come with being in love. Made every Valentine's Day a living hell.
Officially the first song I've listened to in 2024 and now the 4th month after the end of my first relationship. I gave so much of myself to them though honestly, it was more me trying to get rid of myself, and in the end, I just hurt someone I cared about to the point where the only option they saw was to end things between us. I wanna be in love again, I want to do better than then, I wanna fly, wanna fall, and get smothered into the arms of another. And even though I still talk with them I can't help but feel like I lost something valuable, if not something valuable between me and them, then just something valuable between me and myself. I don't know who's gonna see this, but I'm mainly just putting this here to help myself process and still hope for something more. To all the once-not-singles, Happy New Year.

I've never felt romantic attraction towards anyone in my life and I felt so left out since everyone around me had that sort of experience. I used to project nonexistent romantic feelings onto people I was close to because I was so desperate, which ended up with them leaving my life completely. i can kind of relate to this song, though probably a different way than expected. i recently feel in love for the first time, and long story short, it’s been a painful experience. i thought i was over this girl when i was given space, but my feelings for her came back, even stronger to be honest. i still love her, i’m sure, but i’m sick of the repressive feeling of knowing that i love her in a way that’s more than friendly, but she’ll never feel the same. i want so badly to let her go and move on. i want to love someone who will appreciate it.
