  • In this video we show you how to mine crypto coins on UnMineable with your Raspberry Pi 4B or 5. You can choose coins like Bitcoin, Doge, Pepe, Bonk and Solano. We will go for NANO (XNO) in this video. We think this is the best crypto coin to mine when mining with single board computers on UnMineable. It already pays out on a 10th of a cent and there are zero gas fees when you send the coin to a wallet or exchange. You will not get rich by mining with your Raspberry Pi, but you can learn a lot and get involved with crypto mining.
    Have fun! And if you liked the project, please consider buying us a cup of coffee.🧡

    xmrig takes a fee as well. but you can disable that before building it. its a bit tricky finding the right file. but i believe its called donate or something similiar.

    Hi im having troubles with my pi4. It mines ok for an hour or two and than suddenly it becomes offline

      While a share takes a bit longer on a RPI, the pool sometimes thinks the Pi is offline. Normally it's shows again after some time (My Pi's have the same behaviour). Otherwise check if XMRIG is still running on your Pi.

    Thanks a lot - I have no clue about RasPi's but with your video even I managed to get it to work.
    One thing though - I want to run it Off-Grid with a solar panel and a Battery so it could happen that it goes off on a cloudy day. Is it possible that the RasPi is startig to mine again without interaction as soon as the power is back?
    How can I do that? I guess you have to put the start command to any file - but I dont know how and where... thanks

    • @BloxyLabs

      I think the following must do the trick. Make with nano a file with the name start.sh in the build directory with the following content:
      #!/bin/sh
      # Set the terminal size to 80x25
      stty rows 25 cols 80
      # Start your application inside a screen session
      screen -dmS xmrig ~/xmrig/build/xmrig -o POOLSERVER:PORT -u WALLETADDRESS -p x
      Customise the paramaters with your poolserver and walletaddress. After that use the command crontab -e and type at the end of the file in a new row:
      @reboot bash ~/xmrig/build/start.sh
      Than save the file and reboot. I hope this will work! Good luck!

    btw here is a free Sub - well done.

    • @BloxyLabs
      @BloxyLabs  3 месяца назад +1

      Thank you!! Yeah you can do it check: unmineable.com/?algorithm=randomx . In fact in the example in this video you're already mining XMR (or Zeph depending which coin is more profitable) but you get paid in Nano. The reasons we choose for Nano it is possible to send small amounts to exchanges without paying any fees, but if you have a longer horizon you also can choose to get paid in Monero (XMR) or directly make use of a Monero pool. The mining software on your Pi is XMRIG which is based on the RandomX algorithm used by Monero.

    • @BloxyLabs
      @BloxyLabs  4 месяца назад +2

      No problem😊 That's difficult to say. Of course, it has to do with the electricity price in your country and the development of crypto prices. I have solar panels myself, which makes it interesting for me. But I must honestly say that I don't do it so much for the profits, but I just enjoy trying out things like this ;).

      @@chuckles3079 Thanks! I've gut solar panels for my house but if you want to run A Raspberry Pi off the grid you can use something like this : uk.pi-supply.com/products/pijuice-solar . You need a setup with a battery for when the sun is behind the clouds and maybe when you want to run it through the night.
