"Criminal Record" is, in my humble opinion, Rick Wakeman's most inspired and overlooked work. This tune, "Statue of Justice", the first one of the 1977 grandieuse album, shows the most unique of Rick´s keyboarding virtues, only comparable to those of Jürgen Fritz. The sudden mood change at 2:14 is simply fantastic.

Absolutely agree with the radical change....And Jürgen is an underrated keyboardist, unfairly described as Keith Emerson's clone.
This piece is really evoking of my youth and still keeps strong and beautiful.
This is as brilliant now as when I first heard it as a 7 year old.
2:33 Abertura do programa "Zoom Zoom Noturno" Que saudades do amigo, Luís Fernando Pinto.😔😢🕊💞
J.S. Bach would have absolutely LOVED this. A perfect display of modern day contrapuntal writing! Outstanding.

I remember buying this album when it came out. Still have it but no turntable to play it on. So glad this was posted.
Oh thanks for uploading this. I am back in my youth with my first boyfriend in Sandviken!
Kudos to the video presentation of one my favorite Wakeman tracks!!
Highly original masterwork by the Master of the Keyboards.
I love Criminal Record, and I think this is the (very) best song on it.
Judas Iscariot for me, but yes Statue of Justice is special.
This is a good piece, almost as good as Birdman of Alcatraz from the same Album.
Zoom zoom noturno poha!!
Isso aí 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Saudades do amigo, Luís Fernando Pinto.😔😢🕊
