Love the lamp and the staff carvings. One of my best memories from elementary school was when our teacher had us bring in a bar of ivory soap to carve. Maybe 2nd grade or so. I don't remember what tools we used, I just remember I carved a little girl and remember looking at it and being amazed that it actually looked like a little girl!!!
That wizard absolutely is going in the Carving Fusion Hall of Fame!!! Great features all over this piece...burned accents, wicked carved staff, the perfect lantern with flickering light, & honoring mom with her ball ...WOW !!!

Jordy, that is a dandy carve! The pleats in the wizards robe is great to give a little movement . The lamp looks real nice and gives good light and yes you can be very proud for doing that special touch in the project. I’m glad your using cital on it the tint it leaves will be perfect. Yes film the castle project. ✨❤️

Everything about that piece is absolutely YOU!… JORDY JOHNSON CARVING FUSION!! I was getting in my truck and heading that way to get it😂 until you said it was going in your living room. It absolutely belongs in your living room! That’s where it would go at my house. In fact, you should take it home right now and put there, that way it ain’t sitting in moisture all winter long, and it can slowly dry and you can start enjoying it? You can cetal it come spring at home? The lantern/staff are perfect!! It’s the Masterpiece of all Masterpieces!! Be proud! Very proud!!….. Good stuff!!!
