Southern IS the Jukebox.... But "The 100" is the Ipod. It doesn't get any cleaner than FAMU. I never understood the hate for them from the other 20 bands that all sound the same. Yankn and Crankn is not who FAMU is.
Well, Famu’s music is just so bland! No color in the arrangements. It’s not about “yankin and crankin” as you put it, but some of the other bands, like JSU, SU, TXSU and a few others look and sound excited to play their music.. Famu just sounds, nice. That’s it, it’s just nice cozy unintimidating elevator music.. lol..
@@MrWilson1972sure, but it’s not a indoor concert either… JSU for example is clean, exciting, and cutthroat.. Now I’m not suggesting Fam lose their identity, but I will say that battling in the SWAC is Completely different than battling in the Meac. It’s a War mentality vs a Friendly competition! To gain respect, they have to bring that to the table now.. And I’m not trying to slight them.
@@portcitypizzle The FAMU arranger is the best arranger in HBCUs period. Ask Southern's arranger. I'll go as far as to say that I don't consider you a real HBCU-grown arranger unless you have some FAMU arrangement in your library.

Nothing against the 100, but you can't call this a 5th quarter when Bethune up and leaves. I have been wanting to witness a 5th Quarter between FAMU and Bethune. Two years straight, and no 5th quarter. What's up with that? Can someone from Bethune answer this question? At least FAMU stays, but I did not pay to see FAMU only play by themselves.
Yeah, i don't think these two bands have EVER really had a proper 5th, or really gone at each other. I'd like to know if there's a reason. I would have liked to see a 5th in 2008.
Terrible video it’s more of them watching 3 h’s take a picture and it’s not focused up close on the band’s talent that guy needs to be fired immediately
1. I was literally at the game with my girlfriend. I just wanted to get the video out and didn't crop them out of it. Seems like you were the one focusing on them. 2. I did take up close shots and I usually only do them during tuba breaks because that's when there's actually something to see.
