Caballé is both more lyrical and more dramatic in a contained, less lachrymose way. Tebaldi more histrionic to my ear: makes it sounds like she's weeping throughout. Caballé builds more effectively I think. Obviously we´re talking about two extraordinary voices.
Usted tiene razón... una bella voz con una interpretación sin fantasía, enfática, apoltronada...algunas bellas phrases cuando les quedan cómodas, y nada mas, y claro, los agudos siempre bajos y gritados.
