      You must have both. All-solid-wood guitars sound fantastic in the ear of the player & immediate audience when played unplugged. But for the stage, and blending-in with other instruments, good guitars with laminates tend to deliver a more balanced and open sound. EF341 is pure magic.

      @zvonimirtosic6171 Does it depends on the way each makers laminate the woods or any kinds will do? 👍🏻

      @@ghimaumelaya I think it matters. I was referring to top Japanese manufacturers, like Yairi and Takamine, who use very high grade of laminates in their Japan-made guitars. Their instruments perform really well. They also make excellent appointments and bracing in the guitars. I did hear other guitars using laminates, but I did not like them as much because, I think, Japanese go an extra mile in spending time to brace their guitars well, regardless of wood-type.

      @@zvonimirtosic6171 Yeah, thanks for the kind explanation. Read it somewhere too that the Japs do have their own thing with the way they laminate woods for guitar manufacturing. Gonna check 'em out! 👍🏻
