You’re right, passive needs a buff. I love the other passive. I just think it’s trash since no other passive is on a timer except this one. Other passive was more fun too.

If you give it a thought, Garou and Kamikaze almost have the moveset and design in TSBG.
The only difference is the playstyle because Hunter is pops-off aggressively ⚔ and Master shines the most when played defensively 🛡

best way to extend with quick slice is dashing right before the 3rd m1 and quick slicing then since the method u showed might be a lil inconsistent sometimes

Cool video! As a returning TSB player who hasn't had much experience with Atomic Samurai, I was looking for some sort of guide just a few days ago! As for the video itself, I love the high effort editing you displayed here, my only real complaint (as another person pointed out) was the overbearing music, it made it sound as if you were fighting over it at times. Other than that, keep up the great content! I'm looking forward to seeing else you've got cooking!

Solar Cleave actually does more damage if used from far away and the end slash of the move hits them. Dealing around 40%.
His third Ult move contains s when missed, so you can backdash away from counter attacks.
His fourth move is perfect to use against Incinerate and if you side dash after speedblitz drop kick and use it, the genos will probably come at you with thunderkick, so use it. Atomic slash counters Metal Bat’s second, third Ult moves, and timing deathblow cutscene, other AS moves, Twinblade rush(if it hit someone), Meteor from Tatsu(time it when she falls), bypasses all finisher s.
it literally says in the update log “atomic slash now bypasses invincibility (invincibility frames) other than cutscene moves

my suggestion for the next vid on making guides is to probably lower the background music abit. cuz some parts of the vids your voice cannot be heard because of the music video is too loud on some parts.

Quick slice being counterable is dependant on how close you are to the opponent. If you don’t get close to them during quick slice, then you have to realize that and not combo extend.
also don’t forget how atomic slash when hit will kill anyone nearby as well, and if you manage to kill two or three people you have most of your ult back. it’s definitely more of a public server character I think, but it’s still fun.
I have 2 pinpoint techs and its a combo extender. The first is 3 m1s, Side dash, Pinpoint (Air variation) and continue doing the combo. And the second one is 4 m1s (uppercut), Side dash immediately, Pinpoint (Air variation), Catch with a front dash, and continue the combo.

As someone who played him a lot, he really needs a rework of his attacks since they're heavily tech based compare to other characters.
Quick Slice should be able to halt the ragdoll timer and cause the opponent to float if they get hit by it while being up in the air and ragdolled (like M1-Uppercut). Also maybe a slight damage nerf like 15 instead of 19.
Atmos Cleave should do 24 damage and be inescapable but having the variant of Pinpoint cut's air variant.
Pinpoint should get a air variant where the user slices down instantly, something like the Atmos Cleave Finisher does so it can be used right after using Atmos Cleave.
^ A finisher with someone getting cut in half would be pretty badass.

The best move in his ult kit is prob Sunset as it is very spammable with dmg almost at 50%. As well to that, the start of it where it makes them roll is very instant so you can catch people off guard, another thing is that since the move can GRAB people into it you can try and catch twinblade rush, it is very inconsistent but if you land it it is great for you.
Btw you forgot to mention that sunrise is counterable
I like atomic samurai, the quick slice move is unexpected when you backdash then sidedash, and atmos cleave is really good (for me) to just catch opponent off guard like theyre chasing you and you dash and dashes around like they expected m1 so theyll block then boom, atmos cleave
the passive melee is 4.5%, 4.5%, 6%, 6%!! it rounds up to 5% on the first hit and down to 4% on the second one - it can also be seen as a base 50% damage increase from the non-passive melee
Tips for ultra atomic samurai is sunset can help you grinding ultimate faster so keep sunset and at near end using sunset at lot people you gonna has a lot of Ultimate

Because his 3rd m1 is slower than most heroes, missing your 2nd m1 means your next m1/move can be countered by counter moves.
I think Atomic Samurai's passive should increase the damage of every move (also changing every move color to a fire orange), and the time increased a bit

This is in my opinion, no hate on what others think;
I think atomic samurai is extemely powerful IF your opponent has used their evasive.
You see from his first to third move, it can be used to damage the opponent even during ragdoll state.
Atmos Cleave and Pinpoint Cut can be used as a combo extender with ease.
Even Quick Slice, though it does slightly less damage if the opponent is ragdolled.
And his counter is just the better version of Prey's Peril which guarantees a follow-up attack afterwards if you're in the right distance.
The Awakening however, I think his whole point is both power and precision. And if landed, it's satisfying really.
But I agree that Atomic Samurai is a character that is required to be more patient as his current weakness is the ragdoll cancel. Unless of course, you analyse when they'll trigger it. Then the opponent is an easy pickens
Honestly Atomic is REALLY good against everyone but really struggles sometimes against a good garou or atomic samurai (mostly because of their parry moves), since obviously you dont do a full combo most of the time if the enemy has ragdoll cancel, using atmos cleave or just downslamming makes people waste their ragdoll cancel most of the time, but good players are won't take ragdoll cancel baits most of the time since they are more patient overall, after atmos cleave if they ragdoll cancel you have advantage due to being in the air, since its a bit harder to track (some people will try to parry you but you can bait it aswell), if they have ragdoll cancel and need to do some damage you can use aerial pinpoint since its pretty safe compared to the ground version and most people wont ragdoll cancel when they see it. Against anyone that doesnt have a counter quick slice is the first combo extender you use most of the time, but its reactable and really good players or atomic mains can block it, or if they are a character with a counter they can parry it (mostly when you try to m1 after however most people use counter after that so you can bait it). And the parry is really good overall.

Honestly after using atomic samurai for some time and learning alot of the techs and combos he is actually really easy to use the and all the moves can be used as a combo extender if you know how to use them

This is only my experience with it, atomic samurai seems to be like a ragdoll based character (which means that you mostly use your moves to ragdolls) which is bad already since most competent and patient players wouldnt use their ragdoll randomly so you cant do that, you also cant raw ur third move since you would get punished, and lastly theres no good combo extender that doesnt uses ragdoll, maybe the first move but thats counterable. But the strengths of it is by playing passive, you can chip them off by use the second move and first move (maybe raw aerial third move?) or you can deal huge amount of dmg when they ragdolled. In conclusion, its basically metal bat worse in chipping but can m1 trade better.

I'm pretty sure you can deal like 90% of opponents' health with an inescapable wall combo, even if they have ragdoll.

People dunk on atomic even though his base move is actually pretty good for combos, theres SO many ways you can fool people into hitting your parry or parry baiting. Atomic is genuinely fun with all his moves all together, most people put him in B tier in their tier lists because they judge each move on its own. Personally, my favorite thing about him is tricking ults with atomic slash, cuz it goes through death counter and death blow. I also think if his passive also buffed his moves it wouldn't be so terrible.

ngl I prefer 3 into 2 way more in atomic samurai's ult. 3 is surprisingly easy to hit raw even on high skilled players if u have even the tiniest bit of prediction or tracking skills. they also can't really ragdoll out of it since u can just get them with 2 after they get up. also I find 4 way better to be used after an uppercut since a lag spike will mess up a downslam
I always wanted an atomic rework. Its entirely possible. All the devs need to know is that this is basically Vergil. They could start by replacing Quick slash with judgement cut and make it so it dosent bump you back if you use it mid air. For atoms cleave, just bring back the OG one where instead of ragdoll, it would just do the knockback thing. Pinpoint cut and Split Second Counter are decent....ish. Pinpoint's air variant is good, but the ground variant can be replaced by Vergil's rapid slash. For the counter... It can stay.

The real thing that atomic need is a new passive, his passive is the most useless ass passive out of the other, he need his old passive back or buff the passive he have now, like make the damage buff work on the move because the only useful m1 is to combo extend and extra damage
