For a parody, you managed to capture the Wetton-era sound almost perfectly (safe of course for Wetton's voice but oh well). That, and this is a genuinely really cool song on its own! Really nice job! >:]
At first, I was wondering, WTF?!! ....I know every Crimson song out there, how did this one escape my attention, and everyone else's! Extremely well done (and hilarious).. you must have channeled the 1974 band...
A few more... "GOMS" wasn't yet released when I wrote this in 1999; the intro is more "Great Deceiver" than anything else (and has its shaker)... The "pretty chord, then UGLY chord" before the verse is from "Lament"... There's a sorta sideways version of the "Fallen Angel" riff right before each "Starlight... BLACK!" line... The middle section sorta suggests "Book Of Saturday"... But that's good sleuthing on your part, mate! :)
I'm pretty sure he's seen it; he seems to be aware of everything Crim-related in the world. So I've always taken his silence about it as an indication that he didn't like it. :)
Of course it is a fake, but this is hardly the point: the creator is obviously both very clever and a big King Crimson fan, which earns points in my book certainly. And of course now I see the posts confirming it is an original... keep it up mate you are a good musician.
This is startling.... I'm a big fan of Krimson + I'm stoned right now. I've no words to say -- or rather vice versa : too many of them are craving to be spoken. Amazing job, Pete. My friend, a very gifted musician, arranger, sound engineer and poet came up with a similar "parody of/homage to King Crimson". I'm sure you'll like it if you watch it. Here's what you type in Search here : "COVER King Crimson ,,One more red nightmare" (Delirium waltz) by Viktor Goray" . Enjoy. Best wishes..... Amazing track, one more time. WHO SANG this? Or is this a meshup of lines originally sung by Wetton himself....? Well, hardly.... If this was sung by you -- accept my congratulations. Very good imitation of John's timbre and intonations. Just as well as the poetry , come to that...
My bet is that it's some ingenious mishmash of Crimson songs with various effects on different parts. I'm hearing little snippets of stuff everywhere. The vocals are probably Pete's.
I do... Just usually not much like this. But I actually just started recording an album of acoustic-based Crim covers. I'm planning to include these songs (or bits of them): Peace - A Theme; Pictures Of A City; Schizoid Man, I Talk To The Wind; Court Of The Crimson King; Fallen Angel; Starless and Frame By Frame. If everything turns out well, some of it should turn up on my channel sooner or later... :)
I doubt that this is actually Crimson. The voice is not John Wetton as far as my ears can tell. The guitar lacks Fripp's distinctive signature. It is a parody in my humble opinion. Still, it is quite clever and has it's moments
@tylerlwoods I think it sounds like him, but I'm still a bit skeptical, because I just can't stomach the thought of KC writing a Christmas single haha.

You totally nailed the sound of that era of Crimson!!!!! This is amazing!
Good God Almighty, Courtposting is considerably older than I expected. This is beautiful
Brilliant, wonderfully superbly done, as a massive Crimson fan this is just bloody well outstanding! :)

@Andrew Peterson Similar to it, but slightly different. :)
I love it!!! It's a mix of some of the coolest Crimson tunes
1:10 was Fripp's response to this video.
The riff at 0:43 is pretty awesome. Sounds more like 'Level 5' to me.
Freakin' fantastic...!
Great work, Pete!
@PeteZolli Thank you so much for uploading this rare recording‼
Stupendous!
I think Fripp should see this, but don't dare to link him.
I'm pretty sure he's seen it; he seems to be aware of everything Crim-related in the world. So I've always taken his silence about it as an indication that he didn't like it. :)
@@PeteZolli Bollocks, this is just fine.

Brilliantly done. Almost had me fooled!

This is just incredible.
@PeteZolli
I can tell you're huge fan of KC.
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!
Whatever the hell that was, I loved it!
Very well done. You're brilliant. Really. Thumbs up!
This is actually pretty good
Hahah it's like a combo of Larks Tongue and Easy Money. Good work though, I would have believed it except for "Wetton's" voice.
My bet is that it's some ingenious mishmash of Crimson songs with various effects on different parts. I'm hearing little snippets of stuff everywhere. The vocals are probably Pete's.
Damn, this is pretty awesome
0:30 The Talking Drum?
Brilliant!!
a great tribute to a great band.
This is wonderful.
This #@**&%^ computer just linked me to this. (I'm 9276). AWESOME. Hilarious and just great.Gonna check out some of your other stuff.
Yes..you are right! This took a lot of work, which I appreciate.

That intro slaps tbh

Lost it when the vocals came in, good stuff!
Out-fucking-standing, sir!
This is proper.
its basically easy money and larks II lol. good work almost capturing the KC sound ;)
Just wow
@PeteZolli it's not a matter of opinion, but sounds real
OK, I added a link to "Suite In KC" in the video description.
I hope you like it. "Starless' should be up, too, in another couple of days,
How the hell did you this?
Well, I just wrote it and played it. As you do. :)
@@PeteZolli It's amazing.
@PeteZolli I know what you mean, i know what you've seen, i understand, my brother!!!
I have had this bootleg since 75, sound here is of much better quality. Awesomely authentic.
Plus I'm wondering where in the world you found it!
@tylerlwoods I think it sounds like him, but I'm still a bit skeptical, because I just can't stomach the thought of KC writing a Christmas single haha.
if u do that, i'll be pleased to hear waht u've done
not King Crimson. but still very good, nice job!
Roberts gonna be mad!!!
The musical equivalent of all the fake UFO videos on YT......
this is a KICK IN THE PANTS!!!!
It is very funny my friend. I find you.
This is not real, but a very funny! I like!
Very realistic indeed.
Who knows...
fake as hell but I liked it a lot, why don't the people or person how made this make more music?
I am greatly deceived!! cats food again! Very Good!!
where you find this????????
Забавно
Where did you find this!?
nice song, but the advertising is slightly reprehensible... :p
Well, yeah... But the GOOD ones, not the pie-plate-on-a-string ones! :)
Very nice. Lot of Crimson, not King. Nice try, guy.
The fuck is this!? :O
That's more fake than the WWE. Nice try. Very amusing.
fake
