My father sang bass, my mother sang alto, my brother was tenor and I sang the lead. 18 years of living at home was a musical heaven on earth. Praise God for voices to praise Him.

When I was a child, one church my dad preached at had several members who were Coastguardsmen, Merchant Marines, and fisherman or other water folk. This was one of the favorite songs that was requested over and over--by them or their families when they were at sea. (I live in Hawaii). The "Coasties" were often servicing the buoys that mark the hundreds of atolls, reefs, and other shipping hazards that mark our Northwestern Islands. The song still brings back fond memories of those people and times. Our brave Coastguardsmen (and women) still tend those buoys. Prayers for their safety--and the safety of all folks who make their living on the water--are always appreciated.

What a beautiful voice God gave him. My favorite tenor of all times! But I wondered if you all got frostbite filming this! Some of those fingers look awful red!! Maybe noses! My parents were, Christians, all of my life. I lost my Dad in, 1992. It was, hard losing him. But, I knew that he went to Heaven. And my Mom passed away, in, 2002. I still miss her too. Someday, I will See them both in, Heaven. My Dad was, a, Preacher. My Mom was, a real good piano player. I Love this song. Thank you, Redeemed Quartet, for, Blessing me with your songs. Amen.
