    My only experience with Bandsaws was when I used one to saw, but it was a large stationary Bandsaw with its own legged Base.

    Hi :) - Maybe you can help me with your experience further. I use most of the time 1/2 UL EMT and cut it with a hand EMT conduit cutter pipes. Later on I wish to use a reamer on my impact drill, BUT they don't fit inside anymore. After the cutting, the diameter got smaller on the entry of the pipe and a 1/2 inch reamer can't work anymore. Do you know a tool to expand for 1,5 - 2inch the EMT pipe so I am able to use the reamer with the impact drill?

    So if you bend using the arrow do you still not measure from the middle of the coupling to the back of the 90 or do you measure to the plumb line?

    • @tehtitonaterT800
      @tehtitonaterT800 Год назад +2

      bending 90s with the arrow you still measure to the back of the 90, not the plumb line in the center of the pipe. with 1/2" pipe you might not notice the difference or be able to cheat it in the coupling. but the bigger the pipe, the bigger the distance from centerline (plumb line) to the back of the 90, and you'll soon be coming up short if you measured to the center instead of the outside edge of the pipe.
      you probably figured that out already in the intervening year lol

  • @CrackedZac
    @CrackedZac 11 месяцев назад

    Hey! So if you’re using the arrow to make your 90 degree bend would you instead measure to the front of the connector instead of the back like you did with the star?

    • @robertmcmullen8465

      You only take out the “Stubs Up” measurement when you’re measuring the stub up distance to mark for the bend. He pulled his measurement for the bend opposite of the stub up

    • @tehtitonaterT800
      @tehtitonaterT800 Год назад

      the hook faces the stub end, opposite the measured direction. so when you bend the conduit rolls back towards the end you measured from. you can see him quickly point out the stub end at 3:03, which happens to be the shorter end. notice that is the end he faces the hook towards.

    • @robertmcmullen8465
      @robertmcmullen8465 11 месяцев назад

      Yes it does. Since you measured for it to fit in a coupling and go that distance to the 90. If you dont face the hook the right direction. It won't work. Unless, for some reason you did this in the middle of the pipe and can cut off both sides. In that case. You just wasted 10ft of pipe.
