I disagree. Seeing how Humanity reacted to a certain outbreak we can't name I honestly feel like the stupidity in Apocalyptic movies is giving Humanity too much credit.
Humanity would ultimately bicker amongst itself until it's extinct. Doesn't matter if one side is right or wrong.
The infighting wouldn't stop so priorities would fall to the wayside.

Who says they didn't recognize him? Why do people keep repeating this, is 2+2 really that hard? The owner said the teen wasn't allowed to take the medicine, teen took it anyway, employees used the excuse of robbery to torture him.

Like, torturing a random thief isn't any better, even in post-apoc setting. Killing out of desperation and survival sure, but torturing? That's psychopath behavior. If another employee would've stolen they probably would've tortured him too.
The kid wasn't their friend or anything, he was just a teen who came by to flirt with the owner's daughter while doing some chores. He was fifteen, he hadn't been helping "for years", you just made up that.

2. I somehow like the creature's design and the way their mouth vibrates although i don't understand how they kill people.
3. The creatures can be killed by teenagers but adults get easily killed, how??

I saw this video scrolling one day and didn't want to spoil myself. Man, the monsters in the movie looked nothing like the thumbnail and the mosters were so damn weak. They were like weird looking dogs, especially the part where the kid caught one and then it ran under the bed, like this is what wiped out humanity? Lanky dogs/woodpecker hybrids

The way the camera seems to almost glitch out when the creatures do that rapid jaw snapping thing makes me think that they may have some sort of ability, some kind of time anomaly that allows them to basically put their jaw snapping on fast forward..
What freaks me out the most is how fast the creatures can move their jaws or limbs
The way these monsters can just morph their body's for different obstacles is over powered an scary

i watched this yday, really loved it, nick cage really does one good movie once in a couple years and this is one of them.
He's a great actor, but his movies aren't very good compared to his ability
Aside from the cookie-cutter, uninspired plotline, that creature design is so cool and unique, wtf was going on with their mouths, and the body-horror back splitting open, and the nails, and that fucked-up wheel they made?? Need to know the though process that went into their design

I was willing to say that nobody in A Quiet Place had thought to shoot the bulletproof aliens in their big glowing pink weakspot, as I was also willing to believe that nobody thought to use sonic based weaponry against them, but these? They kill one with a kitchen knife and a door that's older than most of the protagonists stops them, ain't no WAY these things nearly wiped out humanity.
