Headstrong Ariel is no longer content to live on the ocean floor under her father, King Triton’s rule. Convinced she’ll only find happiness on land, she sets off to find a world where she belongs, battling a cruel sea witch and finding true love along the way. Adults and children alike will revel in the Academy Award®-winning hits by the legendary Alan Menken including “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.” This spectacular new production will feature dazzling costumes, a stunning pop-up book inspired set and visual effects that are pure magic. No haha I think he's trying to be like floating/swimming!! That's what we did in my local production of TLM- all the sea creatures had to always be moving a little to imitate being underwater
I'm a girl and I played Scuttle in my school's production of The Little Mermaid with all the gulls being played by girls as well. If anyone watching this is going to be in the musical I just want to tell you that energy is so important for this show. After watching this version I really think gulls and mermaids everywhere should know that if you put energy into your acting, dancing, and singing equally your production of TLM is bound to be a hit!
Lexie B. I just played scuttles in a professional production and it takes so much energy and work. We're on our eighth weekend and we still have a bunch of shows left. The tapping is the best. I'm the youngest in the cast and it's very intimidating and I've been having a great time. I hope you had a great experience as well!!
Rileigh Pedersen That's so cool that you play Scuttle in a professional show! It must be scary to be the funniest lead and still be the youngest, but it's awesome that you're having a good time. I'm happy to know that there are other girl Scuttles out there who are strutting their stuff with confidence! I hope your show goes well :)

joey just be confident and don't be afraid to do weird bird-like things in your audition (the funnier the better), it'll show your dedication ;) I'm sure you'll do great!
Playing Scuttle is so much fun and there's so much room for improv! I love it! My show is in February and I'm soooo excited
Hoping they do little mermaid somewhere in my town so I can audition for this role, Scuttle just seems like so much fun!
They did this in my town, and our scuttle was played by a girl. She did so well!

I’m so glad this exists, it has all of the gull harmonies I need for the show! I can’t read music, so this is a godsend.
My Choir is doing the little mermaid and this production is going to be so fun with scuttle!
I recently got cast as Scuttle and boy is this a tough song to sing as a girl! I have a decent range but it’s super confusing to have to switch between octaves constantly. Plus singing in a nasally character voice is tough, but it’s one of my favorite parts about this character. Props to any Scuttles (especially my fellow female Scuttles) y’all are amazing!

In my school district's production for this, there were two tap dancing gulls apart of Scuttle! It was so funny and cute! I was a flower and a person in TLM production.
I auditioned for scuttle, and everyone said I would definitely get it but I just got the results and I got a mersister
I auditioned for Scuttle too. I think I did pretty good and I put a lot of effort towards it. The showoff popular who gets everything handed to him got it 💀 he puts no love and effort into Scuttle whatsoever. He's off key, off time, and extremely monotone. Directors don't say anything. At least I got maid #1 lmao.
