@@JB-jr3bm Definitely. And actually - it has been. Plenty of people are now 3D printing cases. If you're missing one of those covers for the slots in the back, you can 3D print a new one. If you need an adapter to fit a 2.5" drive into a 3.5" or 5.25" bay, you can 3D print one. There are plenty of use cases for 3D printing if you're into PC building.

I guess it´s not really a collab. Prusa is known to go to their bigger customers and give an insight in how they are incorporating 3D printing in their work. And I love, that they also choose something "less-industryly" like a youtube channel with merch, allbeit a big one :D
Respect for you that you'll post a video with your direct competitors products. I'm glad 3D printing companies can coexist without all the drama. I love my bambu stuff but have found myself using my mk3.5 way more too lately. Will definitely be picking up a 5 toolhead XL when I can afford it lol.
The 3.5 launch was spot on, I think, love the upgrade! I will keep buying Prusa but I am glad the competition is keeping the minds on this market sharp 😉

Yeah, you can definitely tell that the Prusa team edited this video and not the LMG team. But that's okay. I don't need Prusa to have good video editors. I f**king love their printers and that's really all that matters.
Alex is natural talent :) As LTT watcher and new owner of used Prusa printer, I honestly really enjoyed first part. I know most of tech from previous LTT videos but it's nice to see it from other side. Printer comparison was also nice, not just talking about specific product but more about whole workflow.

I was hoping they would mention that they released the files in this video, I suppose they have paper work to do before they can release the files. Who owns what files and if it was created at someones home their own time the files does not belong to ltt not that I think the'll mind sharing it.
If I had to guess. Different printers for different uses? Even as a home user, I have 3 different printers. Admittedly Bambu labs mainly because I have cats and the factory enclosure was appreciated.
Honestly surprised that the LTT printer setup doesn't have a dedicated air collecting and filtering system with how many they have and how in the know they usually are
I do recommend the 3.5 Upgrade, quite cheap but the printer feels a lot newer then, Also Upgrade the nozzle to 0.6 and you are nearly as fast as newer printers with a 0.4 nozzle
Great video ! :) Just ordered the Prusa XL, can't wait to receive it and assemble it. I built the triangular shaped reprap while I was still studying, it was a fun project and experience, and I still have it displayed at my home now 10 years later. I also helped my brother build a few of the original Prusa's shortly after that, but then after that I kind of lost interest (the time investment required was a bit big back then). Now, seeing the evolutions that have been made, I am excited about exploring the possibilities of 3D-printing again. Hearing from my friend that the Prusa MK3 he got in 2017 is working perfectly till this day and the experiences he has had with support, and then seeing videos like these (and the Prusa factory tour) definitely convinced me that this was the best pick for me.
When looking at all the sets lined up, it immediately reminded me of an IKEA. They always have these furnished rooms to show off their designs (in Europe at least).
He talkin about Prusa printers but look at those Bambulab X1 Carbons with AMS systems under the table. Those things rock, I myselft own an A1 and it's fantastic
I run a Prusa XL most of the time and I an so super happy with it. Running Prusa Printers for a long time now. Even printing stuff for customers ist fun because the printers just work. I hate filling around and tinkering. Unpack, plug in, print. That's what I want. I am super eager to work with the Core ones. So far I ordered two yet.
As someone using 3D printers (as a hobby), I consider them to be one of the biggest steps on tech, the ability that ordinary people can now fabricate items at home

Probably corporate stuff. Deciding what footage can be shown, what to blur out etc. and then waiting around for final OKs from both sides. Also there may be some stuff being shown that really was not meant to go public back then but in the meantime it has been in some video.
@@LilApe For printing TPU maybe, but outside of that they're not top of the food chain for the past few years now. Especially when considering they just released their first core xy models (XL & Core One), include auto bed leveling and input shaper in order to keep up with the rest of the market. Same spokesman who said core XY was not the future and fast printing = bad quality, in 2025 still won't include a camera to monitor your jobs remotely on a +1k $ printer. Be more charitable to the people improving the experience for users or just stay in your black and orange tinted bubble.
Except you didn't hear him say how they get inconsistent quality with them, inconsistent quality is typical of chinese made printers. Prusa is better which is why they use them more often and on the top shelf.
Slowly saving up for the core 1, I have an old neptune 4 pro and I'm always fighting it to just lay a decent first layer, now the gears are slipping or something and its disassembled while I troubleshoot it ;-;
Cheap printers like Ender are great if you want to fiddle with the printer itself to get it to work well. If you need to get stuff done something like a Prusa is the way to go.
@@hassosigbjoernson5738 Funny how the labs team have said in other videos that they mostly run Bambu printers because of how good they are, but on a sponsored video they suddenly like the Pursa printers better... They have praised Bambulab for the ease of use, quality and consistency. But out of "nowhere" they are inconsistent? I dont buy it.
@@knatt99 That was two years ago dude lol. They've already stated last year when they got their MK4's that they went back to prusa becasue of how much more consistent and reliable they are over bambu labs.

Yeah, I find it kinda surprising that they just left a Bambu printer in the video (FormLabs is probably fine, they don't compete in the same league)
The Mk3.5 with a 0.6 nozzle is really a no-Brainer upgrade, I do also have an mk4s which I will sidegrade to the Core One as soon as possible :-)

Prusament is pricey - but it's the best. If I need some engineering filament (or just want something really good), I check for Prusament first.
I've been watching Linus since he worked at NCIX. It's crazy to think how far this has gone!

LTT makes 4-5 videos a week, but LMG across all channels (incl. floatplane) makes >20 videos a week.

If LTT are using Bambulab X1 showing below the Prusas, this means the security concerns over privacy breach in local data is no sense.
