Damn Alex Morgan was in tears for most of this game on the bench the moment got to her. Also oof these women where sweating like crazy in the unusual high humidity of San Diego. Just stepping outside was tough the entire day.

The Wave are a terrible team. Sad to see Morgan go out like that but at the same time she had her chance to score and it was a good shot but better save from the goalie. The red card made no sense either, that referee seemed like he was on a power trip. Not great send off for NWSL.
Feel like this send off would have gone better if Casey Stoney was still head coach…

in current form SD was never in a good shape for a celebration of one of the legends... having said that, Morgan should have start the party herself, by putting the PK in.. Maybe too many nerves but somehow a 'real' legend would have made it no? kinda symbolic for her outstanding career (lots of ups and downs)
Messi has about an 80% PK conversion rate, Ronaldo just shy of 85%, Morgan sits about 73%, so no, “legend” or not, no PK is a guarantee. Now factor in that it’s your last game EVER and you have mere minutes left to play. Also, shout out to Murphy for the correct guess and save. Bet those two have faced each other PLENTY in USWNT camp.

Wow, what an amazing performance by the North Carolina courage women's team tonight. Alex Morgan is completely trash instead of helping her team and fighting to the very end of the international career she subbed herself out and displayed she has no fight left in her completely giving up likes a complete loser. And then her team fell apart and completely cracked first with NC courage scoring several goals.Then with Kailen Sheridan getting a red card. To end her career Alex Morgan has nothing to be proud about her highest moments were the 2012 and 2013 year of the career. And ever since after her Golden boot win she never been the same. Lacked the will and the tenacity to will her San Diego team a victory . To be hontest way she retired was terrible she has no fire left in her to win. Gold and championships and lacked the leadership to lead the San Diego Wave this year to the top of the standings of the NWSl season. She retired without a victory under her final game. And she didn't even try to fight for one either what a complete loser.Hopefully they keep improving and find more ways to win more games in this season NC courage is a excellent team this season . And they sent Alex Morgan of as a complete loser. Great contributions this evening from Haley Hopkins, Feli Rauch, Bianca St-George and Meredith Speck.This evening was a great afternoon for North Carolina citizens and the NC courage fans as well .And it was exciting to see the NC courage team this evening destroy the San Diego wave.
