Ser criston killed joffrey because he threatened him with something he was already feeling guilty about and he knew joffrey would continue having sex with laenor while he was married, which disgusted criston as an honorable man.

Alicent should be wearing the kings colour. Green is her family colour its practically a declaration of war . . Black is the princess colour. ( supporters of either side are called the green or the blacks ) like in English history the war of the roses ( red or white )
Not just her "Family" color,.. Green is the color Royalty and a War Banner of the "Reach Kingdoms " ex: the Highgarden of Tyrell, The Tarly of Hornhill, The Hightower of Oldtown and other kingdoms in the Reach... And yes... The Hightowers is an Ancient House and Powerful (even without Dragons), Founder of Maesters, Founder of the Church (Faith of the Seven), the creator of green fire "wildfire", and has a City(Oldtown) that can rival the Capital of Westeros (Kingslanding).... Now, Imagine them "Having Dragons too"..

Rhaenyra was 100% challenging Daemon to run away with her, but like what happened when we couldn't see them? The party was supposed to last for a week ending with the wedding, were they going to try and elope? Or was she just still pissed because he left her that night? I need to knoooowwwww AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. The two of them had like zero awareness in the middle of that room, there was so much tension between them they might as well have been making out. @ben1ben2ben1 that’s just delusional. She was teasing him, she would never want to get him killed, what are you on about? It’s been clear since the first episode that they share a special bond which only grew stronger with each episode. If there were no consequences, they would’ve both walked outta there and went to Dragonstone to get married.
and the thing is ser criston was not in love with her nor does rhaenyra they both have feelings for each other and he wants marry her because he saw it is the only way he can restore his honor.
Something tells me you're a bit biased towards a certain character haha :) I'll forgive that because the reactions are entertaining lol. Also, Larys and Harwin Strong are the sons of Ser Lyonel Strong, the new Hand of the King that replaced Otto. They're a very interesting bunch of characters. Criston's situation is interesting, too. He is already pissed off that he threw away his honour and soiled his white cloak for basically a one night stand, and then Rhaenyra spurns him after he offers to abscond with her, so he is already on edge. Then, Joffrey basically provokes him and it seems to be a thinly-veiled threat that if Laenor's secret gets out, so will his, and Criston can't afford that because he risks losing not only his post as Kingsuard but potentially his life, too, for breaking his oath. Luckily for him, Alicent saves him from offing himself at the end. He might be the new ally she desperately needs, as Larys mentioned earlier in the episode, now that she basically signaled that she is on team Hightower now with her green dress at the wedding...who knows?
I love Milly, but there is no way she can pass for in her 30's . Emma was cast first ( they are nonbinary for anyone who may not have known ). I have been waiting to see their performance as Rhaenyra ever since they were first cast, and if you think the Milly and Matt had good chemistry, then the world will not be able to handle Emma and Matt. They are going to break the internet.
Daemon and Rhaenyra is not for me .... they are family and will I hate it if they get together. But with that said if other people want that to happen then thats fine... its up to them. I was a sub when you watched Game of Thrones so I will help you get to 20k... you have a returning sub.
What you don't understand about Cole is that he cares about his honor above all. He is a knight, not a lord. He didn't want Rahenyra for love as much as he wanted her to have his honor restored.
Pilar, girl, sorry I must finally write a comment for your video... to say this: I LOVE your reactions! You are an amazing, beautiful person. I relate so much to your opinions, love that wonderful bastard Daemon (oh he could do anything to me 😍). I too cannot wait to see each next episode, thinking almost only about House of The Dragon through the whole week. And every time I finish watching an episode there are reactions to watch and among them yours 🤩 You are such a delight to watch. Btw, love your room, simple yet elegant. I subscribed your channel and gonna stick with you throughout the entire House of The Dragon journey, no mater how many seasons. I wish you all the best Pilar, you are doing a great job!
It is interesting that you think that Cole's stance is wrong or cringe... Because the reality is that Rhaenyra basically just fucked him over and screwed his whole life up, that night that she made him break his oath; and they've already established how much of himself and honor he attaches to being a knight and being in the kings guard as his greatest accomplishment and his greatest pride, and what happened with Rhaenyra nuked all of that. But in truth he is probably the most honorable and proper guy in the show so far; that's why he tried to talk Rhaenyra into legitimizing in some way shape or form their relationship in order for it to not be that dishonorable; that's why he straight up confessed to the Queen when she didn't even ask, because that's his queen, his superior, a symbol of the entity to which he swore his oath; and that's why he was ready to pay the ultimate price for his "sins"... Hell, even after loosing it, snapping in the ceremony and beating to death the other guy (who basically rubbed in his face that he knows about his dishonor and that he knew the secret of the princess); he was once again ready for the ultimate punishment for his actions: ritual suicide. After this episode there is probably a shift in his character, he is going to change... Shed away some of that honor and the realization that you can't be an honorable "white knight" surrounded by these people... He is probably going to distance himself from Rhaenyra and no longer be on her side; perhaps even start to see Alicent as something of a savior or at least better ally than Rhaenyra.
@@pilarslittlestudio It might be delusional, but he is just looking for a way out... Also, he mentioned a valid argument at the beginning of that conversation... The fact that Rhaenyra herself has talk about how she doesn't like or enjoy any of this; she resents her duties as a princess and heir and that she is basically miserable at the prospect of what she has to do... That's why he thought about suggesting "a way out"; it is indeed unrealistic AF, but it isn't out of left field or coming out of nowhere... She has said that she dislikes her duties and the life of a royal, then he offers a simple life
Main reason for showing Daemon killing his wife displays how far he's willing to go to get with Rhaenyra. The marriage has been held over him like a chain.
@@pilarslittlestudio lets not forget that she seduced him and not the other way around. was willing to accept death as a trade for it. His honor was gone and he had nothing left to lose hence him murdering Joffrey and than proceeding to attempt to take his own life.. Rhaenyra fucked up and she low key knew it.
@@pilarslittlestudio Refuse a member of the royal family? You do that at your peril... If you rewatch that scene, Cole keep telling Rhaenyra that they shouldn't do this and straight up "No"; but there is only so much you can say to refuse a superior like that... If he were any more forceful in his rejection, then he would be basically flipping a coin on the fate of his life depending on how Rhaenyra reacted to that rejection... She had all the power in that situation and she knew it, saying "no" to her could potentially mean a death sentence right then and there if she accuses him of no following a command or "attempting" to break his oath. Was he probably interested in her and did he he enjoyed it in the moment? Yeah, he probably did... but the reality is that while it was starting he made his refusal clear and Rhaenyra not only ignored it but admonished him to continue, she all but commander him to had sex with her... These situation, up until the ceremony, was Rhaenyra's doing.
Ser Criston thought she felt the same as was giving her a way out of all the chaos! The king already has a male heir that the whole realm would agree upon and not start a war over.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 tell that to rhaenyra in her eyes she was betrayed by her best friend that day itself they friendship is gone. There is no way she is gonna trust her again.
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 dude this is my analysis of rhaenyra and alicent they both are same age. Rhaenyra constantly standing up for herself against all the people in the court and against her father. Alicent does not stand up for herself like rhaenyra does she constantly allow herself to be controlled by her father and getting jealous of rhaenyra's is just ridiculous. I know and I get it otto is the one who started everything.
Daemon is the most interesting character, but he is a massive bellend! See Criston life seems to based around honour and love, he gave up his honour for love and it haunts him.
Obviously, Daemon killed his wife to free him up to marry Rhaenyra but they not going to suddenly run away together at her wedding to Laenor lmao. That would be dumb af.
Larys Strong(The one who informed Alicent of the tea) is one of Lord Lyonel Strong who is hand of the king. The other brother is Ser Harwin is part of the gold cloaks.
They do Daemon a bit dirty in this episode. In Fire and Blood Daemon doesn't kill Rhea and isn't even accused of it. Ryan Condal read about her dying and just assumed Daemon must have done it. Luckily, they did make it at least a little ambiguous. Daemon was just so menacing to her and the horse that they panicked and fell. He was happy to leave but then she called him 'craven' which is like saying 'coward' but worse. Craven is like saying you are the kind of coward that pisses themselves and runs while sucking their thumb. The reason they had Rhea die is because she does die, like in the book. Not everything happens for an immediate narrative reason. It was just weird to me to emphasize this idea that Daemon was responsible. That being said, the consequences of Rhea dying are far-reaching and we see those consequences in the next episode.
That conversation between Rhaenyra and Criston is pretty much an example of differences between the 2 genders... generally. Men who are love-struck, build their life/world around the love of their life while women, set their "priorities" in check.😉
13:30, you might be the first react person I've watched that actually knew about the gravity of her situation and was like " duh, that's not how this works." Yes they both were virgins before they got together, but yes she was always a highest of noble born which for Her Royal Duties to the Realm must Marry only another high Noble born. Be it a Lanister, Baratheon, Etc. Or the prime Choice of Targaryen's, her own Blood. Sir Cristen was COMPLETELY out of place for even thinking that and selfish.
I would have done the same as alicent tbh. Like i trust my best friend and defend her name, costing my father GONE and then I found out she lied to my face? I would have also wore green. And if anyone says alicent did the same with rhae's dad. Nop, alicent was FORCED by his dad, while rhaenyra wasn't forced to fuck criston nor lie to alicent.
With how unexpectedly successful the first season has been, I think there's a chance we get the younger Rhaenerya and Alicent's actors back for flashbacks through S2
It’s sooooo annoying how all up in rhaenyras business the queen is like she’s so petty just coz she’s out doing her own thing with guys and having a whole bunch of them thirsting over her and the queens stuck with her rotting king 😂 sucks to be her I guess
absurd. thats a lie and you know it. rhaenyra made a dangerouos mistake so yes the queen needs to know about it. shes not petty, she cared about rhaenyra and wanted what was best for her. rhaenyra isnt "just doing her own thing". she violated a kingsguard's vow and lost her virtue before marriage which is a masisve sin for a noblewoman. you know all of this. you're just lying to make alicent look bad which is very very pathetic
remembering that the book fire and blood is narrated by dubious narrators The book is told by rumors and gossip so it is not reliable, in the book it says that Daemon never likes his wife he hates her the daemon was forced to marry his wife she it is not important in the story In the book there is nothing about her just that she is married to Daemon and that after a while the news comes from her that she died and that she died falling from the horse that is all that is said about the daemon's wife in the Book As I said, Daemon's wife is not important in the story, no one cares about her and the only thing to watch in the scenes when she talks about Daemon's wife is when Rhaenys says that Daemon's wife died, no one paid attention to the news she said That's because she's not important, in the books we don't know if it was the daemon who killed his wife because when she dies the daemon is in a war so we don't know if it was him, in the series they said it was the Daemon who killed his wife the daemon is not killing his wife because she had already lost the movement of her body So much so that he was leaving but the girl was very stupid she opened her mouth so he killed her, the scriptwriters are Ryan they said they said that Daemon is not the kill his wife if she didn't open her mouth, more like She opened her mouth so he'll kill her Being a Christian, if you soiled your white command, it was because you wanted to, because Rhaenyra didn't stick a knife in your neck and force you to do what you did, do you really think that, Rhaenyra? And give up everything just to be with him, my God, this girl is a princess she is heir to the throne she has her customs she is not one to give up everything to have a simple life, Rhaenyra is not in love with Christian she just wants to have fun she just wants sex that's all Christian you are very emotional you are very deluded you and stupid rhaenyra would never give up everything for you Christian you and just a knight have nothing to offer her.
Ser criston is a noble man, who values honor above all else. By sleeping with rhaenyra he has broken the kingsguard vow of chastity, and thus dishonored himself. He feels guilty about this. And yet still loves rhaenyra. When joffrey then tells him that they should "protect their secrets" it is an insult and a painful remember of his dishonour, leading ser criston to snap.
and the thing is ser criston was not in love with her nor does rhaenyra they both have feelings for each other and he wants marry her because he saw it is the only way he can restore his honor. yeah it was rhaenyra's fault it's so messed up.
16:24 the other one is Princess Rhaenys (Corlys's wife and Laenor's mother) and her dragon Meleys. Dragons never stop growing as they get older, which is why her dragon is larger than his.
I am sure ladies fans will hate Daemons next choice in Lady. But I am sure this is a set up for the next season. No hate towards this characters children it will make sense after episode 6

Ser criston killed joffrey because he threatened him with something he was already feeling guilty about and he knew joffrey would continue having sex with laenor while he was married, which disgusted criston as an honorable man.
So glad you appreciate Matt Smith so much 😊, I’ve loved him since he was on Doctor Who (he is definitely my Doctor.)
Otto : To secure her claim she’ll have to put your children to the sword
You : WHAT! Rhaenyra will never do that!!
LOL sweet summer child, whatever you do this time…just don’t name your kids Rhaenyra.
Daemon: Murdering his wife bc she wasnt pretty enough
This Girl: Daemon is so hot! OMG!!!!
Jesus Christ
@@marvzsol5931 yes , and i believe they and the housre redwyne have a fleets almost as big as the crown and house Hightower has the only bank in the seven kingdoms. The iron bank loans money and the Lannisters will in future but at this point Hightower is the only game in town , and i remember in the books , there is some debate , that house Hightower may be as or more wealthy than the Lannisters. And lady Tyrell is the daughter of lird Hightower and lady olenna is a redwyne originally.
Note how she wore green, and Daemon wore mostly black.
Greens and Blacks :D
@@marvzsol5931 Interesting.
she does nothing for ten years. what war?
Same for me with everything u said about Daemon/Matt Smith, I'm so here for it😊
I swear the court needs to get a spray bottle like you use on cats to keep Daemon and Rhynrea away from eachother. XD
As stated before I am slightly disappointed that we are switching Milly Alcock who plays Rhaenyra, we will all miss her to death, I adore her so much and so sad to see her go-And am hoping that Emma Darcey has just as much chemistry with Matt Smith- they haven't disappointed thus far so we shall see
I love your reactions to this excellent drama and the naturalness of the daemon scenes. What sets you apart from others is this excellent reaction and matt smith is a great actor, he conveys his facial expressions to the audience very well.you should watch doctor who starring her
@4:53 Craven is a coward person. @16:25 Laenor's dragon Seasmoke and his mother's Princess Rhaenys dragon, Meleys (the red queen...it's beautiful female dragon). @18:16 yeah we know you love bad boys already, it was obvious hahaha
@@pilarslittlestudio yeah hahah Matt Smith is an awesome actor for sure!

The red dragon name in meleys and is the dragon of rhaenys.
DID THEY KISS?!
She was mocking him because he would have been killed
@@ben1ben2ben1 why do you keep writing the same shit.. she didn’t pull away when he went to kiss her dumbass.
The two dragons are Laenor's seasmoke and his mother, Princess Rhaenys Meleys
This episode was me repeatedly yelling "NO STOP TALKING!" at various characters
and the thing is ser criston was not in love with her nor does rhaenyra they both have feelings for each other and he wants marry her because he saw it is the only way he can restore his honor.
Hahahaha it happens to me too. I just don’t understand why am i so obsessed with this show. It’s been only 5 episodes like wtf 😂
Don't be upset... don't wanna spoil it...but we'll see daemon and rhenerya in future...they are way to hot to have separate life from eachother
The 2 dragons are Seasmoke (Laenor's dragon) and Meleys Aka The Red Queen (Rhaenys's Dragon)
He might be the new ally she desperately needs, as Larys mentioned earlier in the episode, now that she basically signaled that she is on team Hightower now with her green dress at the wedding...who knows?
and shes biased against alicent.
Larys and Harwin are the sons of Lyonel Strong, the current Hand of The King
i thought it was hilarious when criston was spewing his feelings like a girl but your reaction is exactly why men dont
@@pilarslittlestudio He is wrong, he might want his honor restored but he also loves her. There is no one he was closer to than her for like 4 years.
I think they showed Daemon killing his wife because everyone is about to choose sides, this would probably make House Royce go against Daemon.
lol seriously what did you expect to see after he had his face punched with full force about 50 times?
@@pilarslittlestudio if only you could have seen Alicent is sweet
Craven is another word for coward
It really is the most amazing episode so far
10/10👏🖤🔥
Ser Criston is too honorable to be involved and I don't think he can bear the game that ats play lol.
@@pilarslittlestudio Rhaenyra used her position on power over him and even ignored his pleas to stop. We have a word for that.
I thought they were going to lean on a lot of dragon scenes for this show but great writing, acting and cinematography has made this a great show.
Every time i watch your reaction videos about HOD, you put a smile on my face.
Especially when you react about Daemon and Rhaenyra. They are fire.
I absolutely love how you keep losing your train of thought everytime Daemon appears on screen!!
Wow, I just realized the four pictures in your background are from the four nations from ATLA. Very nice.
Ser Criston thought she felt the same as was giving her a way out of all the chaos! The king already has a male heir that the whole realm would agree upon and not start a war over.
Rhaennyra: Your Grace please! Nothing happened! Ser Criston is my friend!
Alicent: *So was I*
lol rhaennyra can say the same to alicent
@@blackpanther6885 alicent had no choice
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 tell that to rhaenyra in her eyes she was betrayed by her best friend that day itself they friendship is gone. There is no way she is gonna trust her again.
@@blackpanther6885 rhaenyra eventually realized alicent had no choice. why cant you
@@godemperorofmankind3.091 dude this is my analysis of rhaenyra and alicent
they both are same age.
Ser Criston gave Ser Joffrey whathwas coming to him:)
Larys and Harwin are the sons of the new hand of the king
That conversation between Rhaenyra and Criston is pretty much an example of differences between the 2 genders... generally.
Men who are love-struck, build their life/world around the love of their life while women, set their "priorities" in check.😉
Criston isn’t love struck
I believe the time jump is ten years btw
10 years jump
Rhaenyra was dancing with Ser Harwin "Breakbones" Strong.
Muy intenso y tóxico el sir. Crispin
the king is not dead he will live till the end of this season
Es común ver a un Joffrey morir en una boda 😅
@@pilarslittlestudio I also read Millie will be shown in S2👍🏼
It’s sooooo annoying how all up in rhaenyras business the queen is like she’s so petty just coz she’s out doing her own thing with guys and having a whole bunch of them thirsting over her and the queens stuck with her rotting king 😂 sucks to be her I guess
absurd. thats a lie and you know it. rhaenyra made a dangerouos mistake so yes the queen needs to know about it.
shes not petty, she cared about rhaenyra and wanted what was best for her.
rhaenyra isnt "just doing her own thing". she violated a kingsguard's vow and lost her virtue before marriage which is a masisve sin for a noblewoman. you know all of this. you're just lying to make alicent look bad which is very very pathetic
remembering that the book fire and blood is narrated by dubious narrators The book is told by rumors and gossip so it is not reliable, in the book it says that Daemon never likes his wife he hates her the daemon was forced to marry his wife she it is not important in the story In the book there is nothing about her just that she is married to Daemon and that after a while the news comes from her that she died and that she died falling from the horse that is all that is said about the daemon's wife in the Book
As I said, Daemon's wife is not important in the story, no one cares about her and the only thing to watch in the scenes when she talks about Daemon's wife is when Rhaenys says that Daemon's wife died, no one paid attention to the news she said That's because she's not important, in the books we don't know if it was the daemon who killed his wife because when she dies the daemon is in a war so we don't know if it was him, in the series they said it was the Daemon who killed his wife the daemon is not killing his wife because she had already lost the movement of her body So much so that he was leaving but the girl was very stupid she opened her mouth so he killed her, the scriptwriters are Ryan they said they said that Daemon is not the kill his wife if she didn't open her mouth, more like She opened her mouth so he'll kill her
Being a Christian, if you soiled your white command, it was because you wanted to, because Rhaenyra didn't stick a knife in your neck and force you to do what you did, do you really think that, Rhaenyra?
So as a woman, how would you feel if the love of your life killed his wife just so he can be with you?😂😂😂
Every pre industrial society....made up or real....Was/is a society of widowers. For obvious reasons.
16:24 the other one is Princess Rhaenys (Corlys's wife and Laenor's mother) and her dragon Meleys. Dragons never stop growing as they get older, which is why her dragon is larger than his.
Sir Cristen made a big mistake but he is all about his honor and I do believe he’s trying to restore his honor.
By beating a man to death with his own bare hands, and mutilating his face???!!! No, don’t think so.
honour ???? joffrey was 100% he was cunt struck and realy tought rheanyra was gonna ive up the crown for his little honour xD
The dragons were Seasmoke and Mealys, Leanor and Rheanys dragons I think
I am sure ladies fans will hate Daemons next choice in Lady. But I am sure this is a set up for the next season. No hate towards this characters children it will make sense after episode 6
29:18 That's not love which makes people act like this. It's guilt and shame and fear.
"This is giving me the ick. 😅😅😅😅"
"Are you crying? 😅"
I hate this girl.
THE BEST REACTORRRRRR , you get it! also you're so friggin cute T-T

Este capítulo es una locura, pasaron tantas cosas. Parece que en el mundo de GOT las bodas nunca terminan bien 😄
Also please make the "call it what you want" edit! Lol
what room are you in, it looks like the size of a closet, come to Arizona we have lots of room.
I watch these just to see how you react to whenever Daemon is on screen
