If you look closely you will notice the screen will light up when something like the angler pass by or when you see the yellow arrows with a foot print signaling your or a wall dweller’s foot steps.
There's a better PSS in that room. On the other side of that shelf there is a box with a small space net to it you can crouch in where you don't have to walk as far and it's pande safe.

i think if u positioned urself crouching and looking down directly behind the box at the shelf u might have survived bc u hid in a corner there wasn’t something directly blocking ur hitbox

The one time that you use a safe spot is when its pandemonium :\

the rule with pandemonium is if you can see him he can see you too you gotta hide somewhere where he won't be able to see you
The smaller shelves in pressure actually have a single hitbox which pande can't see through. I believe these ones however do not.
