How do you keep your strings from squeaking when you slide? Like when you slide your Cadd9 up?
@@tps55555 Sounds to me like his strings do squeak occasionally, and I'm pretty sure it's normal for them to squeak.
teach wild turkey night
The only guy you can count on to get it truly correct regardless of how hard it is.
It isn't correct
Sounds good but not correct
What Morgan wallen is hard lol
@@Kopalchuck whooaaa we got a guitar prodigy folks !! I guess since I’ve been playing 27 years and you clearly taught Jimmy Hendrix how to play then we should assume that anything that’s easy to us is easy to everyone ? Tell me more oh wise one.
@@SticksAandstonesBozo if you’ve been playing for 27 years you should have this riff easily tho
You sir and Mr. Marty have over the last year taught me so much on guitar i can actually play infront of people now!! Thank you sir i appreciate and respect all the work you put in to teach us!
That is awesome! Glad you are out there playing man🎸👍
Please never stop doing this man. I count on you for learning so many of the songs that I want to
I'll keep doing as long as I can as long as people enjoy them! Thanks!🎸👊
Just found your channel and Love the videos. Do you have a suggestion, tip or could you point me to a video that will help with locating the strings between strumming cords? Specifically with this song you demonstrate a version where you pluck the bass string of a cord and then continue strumming before doing the same on the next cord. I think this method makes a huge difference in the feel of the song. Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the great work.
@michaelpeterka509 It does make a big difference in the feel. You can just choose either 1 bass note (whatever the lowest note you normally play a chord with) Like the 6th string for G or 5th string for C or 4th string for D etc. You cam jist experiment with alternating between 2 string (usually right next to each other or with one string in between). Different strings will work so just experiment and see what sounds best for each chord. Hope that makes sense...🎸
Love when people play perfect. 👍🏿
Why does your simple DUDUDUDU always sound sooo good?
Accent every other down strum (Give them a little more power and a little less on the upstrums) And play around with variations of that.
Love a desperate, sad, down and out ballad it's a groove.
I like it when songs are written with ALL of the strings downtuned X number of semitones, makes it easy to technically still be able to be play it without messing with tuning
Easy trick is to put capo on first fret guitar to normal tuning. When you take capo off, you’ll be half step down
I am a big fan of yours, you are the reason I've picked my guitar back up. Thanks man!
Glad you are playing again! Thanks for watching!
Almost got the riff down…been playing less than a year and you are helping out a lot! Thank you!
Awesome job!👊
Morgan Wallen - Everything I Love !!
The 3rd chord of the “riff” is actually 7th fret A string, 5th fret D string and open G. You can hear the same G note played by the 5th fret D and open G droning out. And the low E isn’t played
Yeah I can hear that👍
Your the man
I just got a guitar and I’m trying to learn you make it so easy. Love this tutorial brotha🙌
@@christiangurrola746 Awesome!🎸

Such a big fan of yours, counting down the days until “Love you anyway” by Luke Combs comes out next Friday. Hope it’s on the list whenever it comes out. Thanks again for all of your hard work!!
Thank you Cole, it's on the list!
Hey Robbie! Im kindly requesting for a tutorial of "u cant make old friends by kenny rogers ft dolly. The finger picking.. Your guitar playing is fantastic.
I'll check it out, Thanks!
You should do some Muscadine Bloodline songs. Up and coming country band.
Thank you for this, it inspires me learn a little guitar. A+
Glad to hear it!
Amazing how many ways there are to play this song. The way I learned was a little easier, but this is great too.
Was hoping you would put this one out. Thanks!
One of the best guitar channels on RUclips.
Thanks!
Love this song and been trying to learn it for awhile and finally learned it because someone actually teaches you the right way!!
AWESOME VID!!!!!!! Thank you so much
Glad you liked!
Only learned a year ago so I was having some separation issues with Marty music you helped ease me into it thank you!
Never picked up a guitar before this and this song is the reason I wanna learn so thank you
Got it, I love this song even more now! Thank you!
Awesome!
This (real) version is so much easier and sounds better than the other ones I see on yt 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks!
Really appreciate you!! You are a great teacher! I will say that when you are teaching the picking I love it when you add in or show us the “music”, that way I can read it at my pace.
Glad you enjoy the videos, Thanks for watching!🎸
One more song I tell u is YOUR CALL BY SECONDHAND Serenade
Such a great song and lesson. Your so clean too. Love to hear it. Makes me wish I could play guitar at work and practice it LOL

Do last drive down main
wow i love it! thanks a lot!!!!
I'm glad you like it!
Another song added to the list👏
Awesome 👏! Can you do leaving by Zach Bryan?
Dynamics! Bravo!
You are awesome. Thank you.
When you get a minute I would love for you to teach me. “Burn’em all” Kameron Marlowe or “Sober as a drunk” Kameron Marlowe.
Thanks for all you do, I’ve learned so much.
Still working on it I will get it thanks to you msn Thanks
Pls do gods country by Blake Shelton
Here's a lesson I did a few years ago
ruclips.net/video/qkrG0Asr_Cw/видео.html
Great work man, big thank you!
I think the d might be d/f# it would make it easier to play as well. My thought is that the d acts as a transition chord which in this key is primarily played as a D/F#. Idk maybe try it and let me know what you think.
Hey Robbie, can you do a tutorial on HARDY's "here lies country music"? Thanks!
Very helpful
Glad it helped!
Well explained I've learnt alot from I've started watching your videos, could you do working man by larry fleet thanks
Sounds awesome. Thank you!
You're welcome!
I love music and I just decided to learn to play guitar so this will be helpful in a year or 2 I'll save it lol 😂
Hey Robbie, hope all is well with you and yours... I got another one for you. Sleepin on the asphalt... By Colter Wall. A good finger pickin one !!
I'll check on that one., Thanks!
Can I play this correctly if I only tune the d string down? That would be D flat right
No, either tune them all down, or don't tune any down if you are wanting to play it with these frets I'm showing.
Can you do ‘if you want me tonight’ by Landon smith
Let's goooo robbie. Show out cuzzo. On God no cap
For people who can't understand why it dosent sound like the original it's because the original was played on a 12 string
If you already know some Morgan wallen songs you shouldn't have trouble playing this one .
Hey bud could you make a video on how to play rank strangers
this took me way longer to get than I'd like to admit. I played around with finger placement and played faster, and nailed it pretty quickly
Hey could you do one on i need you by lynyrd skynyrd 😎
Beautiful tutorial!!!
Thank you!
Thank you so much‼️🤘💪🙏
Thanks man great lesson
Glad you liked it!
Hell of a way to go Riley green please
Here is that one ruclips.net/video/rBm5IvPj2IQ/видео.html - Hope it helps!
I’ve learned so many songs from your channel and a couple others. I’ve been checking in the past week looking for 98 braves- morgan Wallen! Hopefully your getting a few requests for that one as well!! Thanks for everything.
That one will be coming soon! Thanks!
The best. I said it.
Your the MVP bro
this song vibes, great job. you just picked up a new sub.
Thanks for the sub!
Got that right
thank you so much
I can’t get the sound loud enough from when u pick the 3rd string at the 2nd fret and slide your finger to the 4th and back down to the 2nd and pull off the string
It's ok if you want to pick again at the 4th fret to get more sound.
@@LearnGuitarFavorites thank you for the comment this helps, I love your tutorials you should make one on Morgan Wallen - Last Drive Down Main, the guitar in there is sick and I’d love to see you play it in a tutorial
@jray3987 Awesome, Thanks!
Hello love this can you do cover starstruck - hero
Do a tutorial on Parallel by Flatland Cavalry 🙏🏻
Thank you! Made it easy! Got it in 5 min!
Nice!
Any tips for the tune ing down a 1/2 step
Just tune down one note lower than standard tuning... I think I kinda explain it in the video... So down from E to E flat (D#) etc...
Robbie, I like your tutorials a lot. I liked how you showed us how to play "Don't Let The Old Man In". Also I just saw you are an avid big game hunter and guide, that is also cool. Do you do any bird hunting? I was just thinking I should send you 20 bucks or something then I saw we can join this or that for different amounts. I am going to sign up for the years thing, mainly just to throw a few dollars your way. Keep the music flowin'.
Glad you enjoy the videos! I never did much bird hunting but do love the big game! Where do you do your hunting? Thanks so much!🌲🎸🙏
You’re awesome man. Thank tou
You're welcome 🎸
Any chance you can do
If you want me tonight by Landon smith?
Cool riff. Not to hard to learn.Really dont need to tune down guitar for it to still sound good
Thanks for this man, appreciate it. Even if my sore fingers don't.
Ha! Yeah, sometimes the fingers aren't too happy with us. Thanks!
This is awesome, exactly what I needed! Thanks for doing this, we all appreciate it!
You're welcome!
Nice. I tried another guy’s tutorial and something sounded off. Your lesson sounds pretty spot on!
Glad you enjoyed it, Thanks!
Great tutorial, thanks 🎸
Glad you liked it!
Could you do the bartender song from rehab? I cannot figure out the strumming pattern at all on that.
I would do DDUDDU for the strumming on that one🎸
Which guitar Pick do u use?
Mostly these D'addario Thin: amzn.to/4bKRj5s or Zager: shrsl.com/4bsif
Your awesome
Great lesson!! Ty.......What strings (brand, type)are you using for this lesson?
Thanks! These D'Addario amzn.to/3JiUtSq
The tune guy here it is a Eb/ E flat
Awesome video mate thanks heaps!
You're welcome!
Thank you for putting out amazing content! Any chance you can do a breakdown of Deathwish by Jason Isbell?
Thanks! I'll check it out🎸
Can you do Put Me In My Place by Masculine Bloodline? Please!
Could u maybe do dawns by Zach bryan. Can’t find a video that teaches it like u do

You're welcome!
Can you do everything I love
That one is done!
Love it sir. I was wondering if you could look up 'heartache' by jamey johnson...ive been looking for it forever and youre the go to for country out there. Thanks for the great content.
The riff sounds familiar. Is it similar to anything y’all heard before?
thank you!
You're welcome!
Awesome as always!!
Thank you!
Awesome man! Thanks for this! I’ve been looking at a Martin 000-16 streetmaster for fingerpicking, any input or recommendations for a smaller body guitar for picking?
That looks like a sweet guitar! I have a 000-12 Road Series but haven't been too happy with the sound of it. I want to like it more, but am not there yet.
That Yamaha is absolutely gorgeous! What model is it, if you don’t mind me askin?
It does sound great, Thanks! It's a Yamaha FG441C 🎸
please play Dreams by Ian Munsick
Hey man can u do we ride by Bryan Martin
