The music in this game was so amazing and probably on of the best things about it, although the game itself wasn't bad (just very difficult at times). Can distinctively remember just sitting there doing nothing and letting the music play or just playing it very slowly. Good times, gone but not forgotten.

What sucks is that he has TWO counters to Twin Headed Thunder Dragon: Labyrinth Wall / Millennium Shield and BEWD. If you had THTD with an equip, you couldn't break through Labyrinth Wall with Pluto and Moon means you still lose to BEWD by Guardian Star Disadvantage. Obviously Pluto was the better option, but still...
@@mouthofsauron328 That's why you use Mystical Sand (cheap fem-rock fusion) + Equip/Wasteland. You can either pick Mercury to screw BEWD over or Saturn to bypass Labyrinth Wall/Millennium Shield.
Best thing is once you get Meteor B Dragon with at last 2 Dragon Treasures you ready to do, depend if fucking Seto dosen't put 3 Ultimate Blue eyes dragons lol

I love this track! When I was a kid, I bought a PS1 Gameshark so I could get better cards more easily and hear this music again. When I got to Kaiba, I left the music on all day.
I remember taking down Kaiba's Blue Eyes with a Black Pendant enchanted Mystical Sand set to moon. It's gratifying to figure out the fusion system and the Guardian Stars so you can use them to your advantage. I always wanted Guardian Stars to matter more, so playing through the entire game with worse cards would be easier. I wonder if they ever play tested the guardian star bonus at 1000 ATK points instead of 500?
There was a gameboy game where the elements were automatical nukes - any fire monster just killed any earth monster without damage, it was kinda insane xD
I still remember the first time I made it to kaiba and heard this theme the first fifteen seconds when I heard it I was saying to myself this is despair, saying I'm about to loss and sure enough first turn he sends out his blue eyes white dragon and like that the duel was over.
The struggle was real in this game! If you could stand the grueling grinding process for better cards/hands,,, you'll be crushing them!!! I have a awesome deck now... took a lot if patience and effort

this was back when Yugioh was worth playing... this game in particular was straight up highest attk wins, straightforward and the music and storyline was AMAZING.
Just started playing through this game again. It took a little grinding (read: 30 matches against Rex Raptor in Free Duel) but I was able to run all the way through the tournament in one shot, Kaiba included. Little prick didn't even play a single Blue-Eyes, I was so disappointed.

For those wanting to play it, Definitely try and get the 5 or 15(size of a booster pack) card mod installed; it makes the game a lot more fair. This is one of those games that was blatently unfair in its original form.

One of the rares Yu-Gi-Oh games of the old gen consoles which didn't follow the TCG rules at all yet was very addicting and fun!
Bruh, the best yu-gi-oh games didn't follow the TCG rules, FM here, Capsule Monster coliseum and Duelist of the Roses.
The simplicity of this game is what made it fun. The TCG you have to learn the archetypes and read dictionary.

You can farm Raigeki from Shadi. Also you can reimburse Stop Defense via password with enough starchips

probably, but 500 is still a huge leap. that's a whole 6th of Blue Eyes, and most spells and field effects will increase/decrease by that
