Hi! I haven’t had any issues with my C-section (it’s been 1 year 8 months), but I was warned by my doctors that an infection is a possible complication. However, I was put on a course of I.v. antibiotics after I gave birth, so, I had no issues. Telling your doctors you have a shunt is very important, so that they are aware and can exercise caution when doing the surgery.
