Wow amazing video dude. I was thinking of opening this account…. My only question is the % is placed once the money is in the account? Like you don’t need to place self account to activate it? One more thing do you also have checking account for this bank? I want to see if the checking plus having a credit card is worth it? I have more questions as well would be nice to talk to you. I do have a meeting with them on Friday.
So no I don’t have a checking account with Capital one , only with Chase . The interest ( daily ) is usually counted after 2nd business day however it will be deposited ONLY once a month I don’t understand this other Question with needing to place self account??? I don’t know what that means but they will obviously verify the info with Your phone number etc. thank You and Good Luck .
No need to spend too much time on this. At the end of the day, most banks offer a savings interest rate between 4 and 5% per year as of today. With a $100,000 deposit, it only makes a difference of $1000 between a bank offering 4% and a bank offering 5%. So, it doesn't really matter what bank you choose. Choose based on features of their app or online portal and, if you care, whether they have a physical branch near your where you live. That's it. The harder thing is to get lots of money to put in the account.
That is very true but still I just wanted to make this video , that’s why I use Capital one even though it has ( today ) the interest rate of 4.35% compared to some banks with over 5% . Thats exactly for the reasons You mentioned. I appreciate it
Thank you so much for such a great video. I have a question, when you open the capital one saving account, when you input your other bank information does it have to take it from checking or can it be from the saving account of other bank?
I’m not exactly sure but I think it should be a checking account, if I find out I’ll reply again but I believe it has to be a checking account, thank You
@@VideoMotivators once you open the high yield saving account, and let’s say it’s open for 6 months. How do you go about withdrawing amounts? Do you transfer back to your original saving count to be able and withdrawal?
Like I’ve said it’s most likely checking account but yes You just simply transfer the money back to Your original checking account, I transferred few thousand dollars few times , one of the transfers was for 8000$ in just one transaction so it’s easy for sure . It takes about 4-5 days usually, just keep that in mind
We have 2 additional savings accounts and total of 2 checking accounts but We keep 85-90% of our total money in Capital One High yield savings account since it pays nice interest
@@VideoMotivatorsAwesome, I have Capital One 360 savings & checking great hybrid brick & mortar and high yield savings. I also have Amex savings for my long term emergency fund it’s out of sight and out of mind so I am tempted to get money out of it.
The 360 Performances savings account can’t really be opened for a child , so what I did is We opened the second account on my wife’s and my name again however we just Nick named it Chris’s savings so we know that it’s my son’s savings account.
@@colin2332 what Bofa????? I’m talking about Capital One Bank but I’m assuming You’re referring to Bank of America? Well I don’t know much about it because I don’t have any accounts with them
I have Capital One and the App has Zelle option so once you open the App on the Botton click Pay/move then on top of screen click Pay then you will see Send Money with Zelle. I have received money through Zelle straight to my Capital One but it went through my Checking Account. I don’t know if its because I have Checking Account but its easy to setup for free and no hidden fee, maintenance fee and no balance minimum for Savings or Checking so I say go for it
I am thinking of opening a 360 savings, this video is very helpful.
That’s Your decision obviously but We’re definitely happy with it so far , I’m glad the video is helpful
Thank you, you were the 1st person to break it down where it made sense 😊
Sure , You’re Welcome. I’m glad the video helps . Thank You
Thank you!! Straightforward video!

oh.... $1000 is huge difference
@@toyslife4311 I agree , it is huge difference for most of us . Thanks
Not true. Try Chase or BofA. Lucky with 0.01%.
Oh, so you think that $1000 is not a significant amount of money? In that case, you may send me that $1000 interest. Thank you. 😊
