The acclamator is still one of my favourite ships, so distinct in its role. A planetary assault ship, with cargo capacity and orbital bombardment weaponry.
It's also one of the most efficient damage dealers for its cost in Fall of the Republic Like, if you just wanna start blasting. The Acclamator Assault and 2 are incredibly efficient damage dealers _if you keep them alive_
The combat variant of Pelta, I believe, can also shoot down bomber ordinance like the CR90 and has light turbo lasers. For that reason, I tend to like them better than the Arquitens.
And they are also tankier. I take them as the premium versions of the CR90. They do take 2 pop cap over the 1 pop cap of the CR90 tho, meaning you can't really spam them as much.
My layout is always huge amounts of carriers, with a few heavy hitters behind like venators. My favorite is a mandator with a bunch of acclimater carriers. Best loudout in my opinion. The smaller ships aren't Wirth the price since fighters, and bombers do way more damage, and tie up alot of the turbo lasers. Theyre also free lol

I honestly prefer the Imperator over the Tector. It’s more versatile, carries fighters and bombers, and has ion cannons which are really good in this mod.
There was only like 1 scene I can think of where any other ship was used when obiwan lures grevious in to an arquitens. The peltad at the medical station dont count.
Yeah. The tector is an SD with a focus on ship brawling. No fighters. It comes with extra armor for the reactor as well. So protect it with AF units and you'll do well
I think the Mandator II should have two bridges in its design as an upgrade to make it more like the Venator class and more like the Clone Wars ships and not the Imperial Destroyer bridge design, I feel that is a better proposition in my opinion since it would have all the essence of the clone wars and the venator since they were the flagships of the war and the mandator II with two command bridges like the venator would look great!
I feel one of the best, but underrated ship is the lil gunboat that can. For me it gives that extra edge in damage. AND!!!!! In 1v1’s if you can be clever you can guide these ships in hard to see spots “like asteroids” using their own size to their advantage. In GC it’s just extra firepower that the AI doesn’t seem to pick up going for bigger threats. Also, as mentioned before mix these with the pelta healing ships… you got devastating power with “staying power”. Best used in groups of no less then 5, and 10 for me being the sweet spot number.
In conquest I honestly only build the venator & victory for style and heroes. Because I win every battle with just acclamators as carriers (far more fighters & bombers per Unit cap) and Invicibles as tanks (and some supportcraft like CR90s to protect them against enemy fighters). Because my playstyle is just: 1. Deploy carriers at the end of the map 2. Destroy enemy ships or at least their hangars and most important weapons with bombers while the fighters take out enemy fighters and bombers 3.a) If there are no enemy reinforcements and I can win: jump some acclamators out and replace them with Invincibles 3.b) if there are too many reinforcements: destroy as many ships as possible with bombers, and then retreat before attacking the same planet again. Repeat from 1 to 3 till done. This does get more difficult with the Omni support ships but I just take them out first and then destroy their Mines so I can play my game. This way I have like a 0.1% loss rate in space
Honestly I don't like the CR90 I find I just gets wrecked too easily. I much prefer the combat pelta for that role. Very similar weapons in a more durable package.
I still cant believe how fragile the Acclimator is in this mod, all of them (haven't yet tried out hte acc 2 but eh). I swear the one from Vannila is more durable this. I get their are small and have their purpose, but i swear if anything farts in its general direction its shields are striped and shortly after half its firepower (and by extension hull) is gone too. But yeah get something to tank for it and it does its job well. Edit: the Pletas (both the combat and repair version) also have point defense, the Combat pleta has the fastest point defense and has light triple turbo lazers to boot. That said the CR90 is way faster.
same with Republic at War mod, it has good abilities but without using them well any CIS ship takes it apart in seconds, it almost feels like Carrack is stronger.

gonna beat ur ass charlie if the dp 20 isnt here pound for pount is the strongest agaainst everything but a lucrehulk, in equal pop they can even kill executors in tr (sahred ships have the same stats in coreys mods)
DP20 got nerfed since the initial release of FOTR. Since then it's not as impactful anymore unless you over-dedicate it in the build queue. Hardcells are better preforming in batches in comparison. - Charlie
One major thing I do not like about both mods fallen republic and Other major/top mods is you have no fighters like you do in the older mod… the one where the Jedi was like WAAAAY OP and was a one man auto win in space and ground. I love that mod mainly because. I always auto the ground battles. I always take command in space. In that mod I can spam fighters. That is the only down side for me in these mods. That and the fighters you do get from ships… are stupid AI WISE… these two mods feels like I’m forced to just select “hunt for targets” and let them get out of my way while do all the work without them. Just me. Still love these mods. But I always go back to the mod where I can build and control my fighters.

Both of them can as well as the CR90 and LAC corvettes.
And they are also tankier. I take them as the premium versions of the CR90. They do take 2 pop cap over the 1 pop cap of the CR90 tho, meaning you can't really spam them as much.
As someone new to the mod this was super helpful to watch after adjusting myself to the game. Awesome video!
I'd take an ISD in my fleet over a Tector personally. It carries bombers and has Ion cannons,which are very rare in this mod.
It's an isd 1 as well which has strong point defense

don't forget that you can't build ISD or Tector ship in the Galactic Conquest only if you go order 66 route... and build kuat contracts

If you use the mod for missiles to bypass shield Victory 1 is better choice

Can’t remember if the acclamator II has ion cannons or not but I like using those a lot late game to go in-between venators and victorys
