Did you ever wonder to yourself knowing it can reach well above 100 degrees in any part of Nevada in any summer, why does Joe insist on that green jacket? Hmmm? Most of the time, black gloves. Hmmm. Even when directing a scene and having full control over the wardrobe. Great show, superb actors all. Love Michael Landon. Silly green jacket is a little much in heat.

Fun facts: Leo Gordon was actually shot in the stomach pulling an armed robbery and spent 5 years in prison before he got his act together and became an actor. He later married a woman named Lynn CARTWRIGHT!

I have watched Bonanza since I was a kid. Just caught something today I never noticed. The Show must have had a BIG contract with
the Coffee companies. So many scenes show close ups of coffee being poured or drank. Even the Sheriffs name. Coffee. Like the big
tobacco companies pay for so much smoking in the movies for many years. Glad Bonanza did not do this, like Big Valley and Rifleman did.

I keep looking at him when he smiles and thinking that he reminds me of someone I know! I finally decided that it’s my husband’s niece. She’s a lawyer and owns her own law firm. She’s in her fifties now and she’s a lesbian although I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ if she’s a practicing one right now. I don’t think she is. 😊😊😊😊

That nieces older brother is now in jail for shooting and killing his wife. No question 🙋‍♀️ whatsoever. He definitely did it. However, they’re holding him until he’s fit to stand trial which will never happen. He really has “ lost his mind”. He doesn’t recognize anyone. All he does is eat and he’s in control of his bodily functions. Nothing else.

@Darla Spurlding I was thinking the exact same thing -- the episode with Lee Marvin. And the funny thing is, it was the episode right after the one where Hoss blabbed about them carrying $30,000 ("The Gamble"), which led to the Cartwrights being framed by a crooked sheriff who wanted the money.
