    I just ordered the same machine as you. For two reasons, 1. you are straight to the point with your lessons. 2. you are the only one that said how many years you have had your machine. Most RUclipsrs are saying ( I have the machine for a little while. few years, short time) ( or if you can get the more expensive one, do it) I have only seen 3 of your shows so far, but I will be looking into as many as I can in my spare time

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  5 лет назад

      hahaaa i appreciate that. i never recommend buying the most expensive equipment. everything has its place and need. Hotronix and DK's are good machines but really made for high production. Sig Series by HPN is a great all around machine. can handle high volume with great useful features and doesnt break the bank.
      i always feel like you can always upgrade later after you've made some money with your current heat press. thanks for watching.

    How do you adjust the tension (pressure) on the press? I bought the HPN Signature series but I did not get the one with the pressure gage. How do you make sure you get the same pressure every time. I have been counting the turns of the pressure knob to be consistent but of course that changes every time you change to a different material. Also, do you ever have problems with the auto close not staying closed. Sometimes, mine pops back open right after i close it long before the timer should release it. I then have to decrease pressure until it will stay shut. Thanks for all the videos.

    Big Brandoh! Tight video man, really appreciate these. How much higher quality would you said the signature series is compared to the craft pro? Leaning towards just spending the extra for the better model, but wanted to hear your thoughts since you've used both. Thanks for all you do and keep killing it!

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  6 лет назад +1

      it comes down to features. Signature Series has a threadable slide out drawer and auto open option. Craft Pro doesnt have these features.
      both presses are made of good quality and produce solid even presses.
      i've had my sig series for years and have put thousands on top of thousands of shirts thru that press with no issues. its a beast.
      whatever fits your budget. they are both great presses and you wont be disappointed. check the links in my description.

    Hey Brandoh. How is this press different, better or worse when compared to the Craftpro? I'm torn between the two. Thanks.

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  4 года назад +2

      it comes down to production... will you be pressing 100+ shirts a night or a dozen shirts a night?
      The sig series is made for high production volume. thats the main difference between the two. both have slide out drawers both made by HPN. similar on paper. but it all comes down to being honest with yourself on your production. if you are just getting started, you dont know your production flow yet but we all like to dream that business will boom right out the gate and we need a high production press. But thats not the case, it would be over kill to buy a sig series and only use it once or twice a week. saving the money and buying the craftpro would be the best option of just starting out. use the extra money for more blank shirts or more vinyl. you can always upgrade later sown the road as you make money and figure out your production needs. if business doesnt boom like you anticipate, at least you didnt drop a budget on the sig series. get me?

    great videos bro, what the difference between the 15x15 craft pro & the signature series?????

    • @BigBrandoh
      @BigBrandoh  5 лет назад +2

      from my understanding, it comes down to production. Sig Series is good for high volume pressing (50-150 shirts back to back no stopping type of volume) Craft Pro is made for smaller runs, low quantity pressing (5-25 shirts back to back)
      its like whats the difference between a toyota Sienna mini van or a Toyota 4Runner. they both do the same thing but made for different situations.

The speaker is located on the back of that display screen. (It's the small black cylinder with a hole in it) This will muffle the sound so it's not as loud.

    Can you tell me how much table space the 15x15 requires?

      i have mine on a 6ft by 2ft table with no issues. but if your space is limited i would say 3x3 table top space to be safe

    How do u gauge pressure

    • @BigBrandoh

      find out what the max is on your press with a t shirt on the platen. do this by cranking the knob all the way down then backing it off a little at a time till you can fully clamp it down. "Thats your Max pressure at its heaviest"

      Yes but without pressure reader how can u tell when it's medium or light. I've seen presses with pressure gauge added but I'm not crazy about the dial being placed in the back and not directly over the top of the board.

      based off of feel. ive never had to press anything medium or light, so ive never needed to adjust for it. my press stays maxed out and only adjusted when i press on sweaters because of material thickness

    Hey man, how do you clean the heated portion of your press if you get some residue on it? Tried looking through your vidz and didn't see a video on it. Thanks!

      Hey Noler! For cleaning the platen you'll want to use "EZ Off" from HPN.

    Do not buy... I have this one and it's thermostat is sucky. Within a year it needed repairs and it still doesn't keep heat.
