This happened in Hawaii a while back. But that particular elephant killed his handler before escaping. It did make it out alive unfortunately. They are so smart with feelings we don’t understand. I am so sad they still have them in circuses!

In NYC, when circus in town, they bring them out on the street for lunch and to be seen in middle of midtown Manhattan at Madison Square Garden.😊
