Considering that vikings were mariners as well as being warriors, it seems like some really crafty guys could do an amphibious frogmen-like operation at night or dawn like this.
13th Warrior is, IMO, the best Dungeons & Dragons movie ever made. Yes I know it has nothing to do with D&D. Yes I know it's based on Beowulf. Yes I know it's set in the real world and not a fantasy world. I still stand by my statement.
It was based on the Book Eaters of the Dead by Michael Crichton. And the schlock that is 13th Warrior is a travesty. What's worse is how few people realize from ignorance just what a crappy movie it is. The Book Eaters of the Dead is AMAZING! It's like a window to the past on Viking Culture and the people. Michael Crichton did almost too well of a good job on making it an adaptation of Beowulf. With the Vikings facing a relic population of Neanderthals. Which are far more like the Danny Vendramini conception and theories of Neanderthals. Which I actually subscribe more to than experts. Read the book if you haven't. You won't be disappointed, and you'll leave this cinematic travesty to the waste bin of history. ruclips.net/video/mZbmywzGAVs/видео.html
this is not a video of the killing of the queen...this is the killing of one of the queen's shamen court women....the queen was killed next and was an old gray, witch....this is a clip of the witch in waiting who ultimately killed that Viking.
She looks like a supermodel under all that makeup. And not scary the slightest😂 i wish they went with the the more monsterous look they original planned
Even these fictional savage people have universal taste in women. They prefer them to be attractive. It just makes sense. They're human after all. She looks like a young queen who hasn't been at it very long.

The beginning stealth attack without alerting the Wendols were like special operations Viking version.

They don't usually sneak as far as I know, but when they do. Your sleeping time will be permanent

Are you referring to a scene (with the queen not a witch) which wasn't included in the final production?
