Cool! Back in the 70s, I really wanted to be a part of Don Ellis' band as a bass trombonist. I thought this guy and his group were incredible! I never got the chance to pursue this as he passed in 1978. RIP Don.
"The New Don Ellis Band Goes Underground" was my first jazz album - got it for Christmas from my dad 1970. The inspiration for me to spend my life playing, teaching and composing music.
Wonderful. Prog-Jazz The use of cellos and basses, the explosion of brasses... Swing interlude, reprise of energy almost pop like an OST of an action movie... Wonderful 😊
It's copywritten material, Beth. It is only available through purchase-no free downloads. Sorry. Right now, UNC Jazzpress is the only place to buy it, and only as a pdf. Currently, I'm looking at additional distributors so more people might find this and other titles a bit easier, and in hard copy form, too.

Thanx for posting the score, but I can’t make any sense out of that modern notation . . . . except for the repeat signs.
