I have the Delta 2. I have it in my workshop hosting a 20 amp circuit. I'm running two 400wat Q-Cell panels in parallel mounted on the roof. It charges 5 Ryobi 18v chargers and a mini fridge 24/7. With lights on and any tools I use, it charges MORE than it uses. THE MAIN REASON I set this up so I can use it during a power outage for the house, keeping two fridges cold, making coffee, using the microwave, and run my cpap machine (91% left after a night) and then be able to charge it QUICKLY (500watts max input) while the sun is out. It works great! You CAN have panels that produce MORE than the limit of 500watts as the Delta 2 will top the input to 500watts. However, you can NOT exceed the 60volts as it will STOP charging. The Q-Cell 400watt panels wired in PARALLEL will keep the volts at 47 allowing the Delta 2 to work. NOTE: NO panel will produce what IT SAYS IT IS. My two "400watt" panels pointed DIRECTLY at the sun will produce 300-310 watts each. With the angling from the permanent roof mount.....200-250 each. So......around 500watts MOST of the time.

Great video, I have the Delta 2 and the extra battery for it, I use 4 echo worthy 120 Watt rigid panels gives me about 400 watts all day long and believe me I absolutely have no problem keeping up with the charge 😎😎

How fast would it charge with the 220w bifacial panel wired in series with the 2 100w rigid panels?

Assuming the voltage would be below 60V and you're getting about 400ish watts, probably about 2 hours.

You said you had them wired in series which doubles voltage but keeps watts at 100 in your case, so you would be at 100 watts, you need them wired in parallel to make 200 watts, did i miss something< let me know.

Voltage is double X amps = watts

All wiring them in series does is increase voltage, wiring in parallel increases amperage. Either way you are increasing the wattage.

If you have someone you know and trust in the mainland you ship to them and then re ship to hawaii. Or you have it shipped to a fright forwarding company. I use fright forwarding on most big or heavy items. YRC fright forwarding company I use alot. Hope that helps.
