Tata Nexon 2020 ESP testing

Here i am checking the ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM the active safety feature introduced in Nexon 2020 update.
ESP works very well in Nexon, it gives you confidence while sharp cornering and for sudden lane changing. Now your nexon will never Roll over because of ESP feature.
Thanks Tata for giving ESP as standard across all varient in Nexon 2020.
Now Tata nexon is much more safer car compared to old gen Nexon. Though old gen nexon got 5 star safety rating.

Try this at 80-90 kmph and let's see. Most unfortunate accidents happen at speeds above this.

@@BondJFK I think you didn't get my point. I have good control over my cars. But all these gimmicks never help in demanding situations. Only luck and destiny. TC, ESC, Rollover mitigation, VSC etc etc fail at higher speeds and thereafter Physics rules and then Almighty.

@@abi2009r Nexon is a good product of Tata. These features mentioned are surely adding to safety. But I think the manufactures should show some demo. During my test drive of Harrier rear wheels drifted five feet when I tested on a sharp curve at 70+80 kmph. It's better not to rely too much on these features.

@@abi2009r unless the car is a true off-roader with AWD, can't expect much. Especially not from FWD vehicles. Sedans perform better. Can't expect safety features come to play at 120kmph.

If ur travel is on highway and city then skoda rapid good choice. If ur looking for offroading or village road traveling then i would suggest nexon.
Also Note that nexon now offering esp as standard which is missing on skoda rapid plus.

Yes, high ground clearance car requires esp more compared to sedan but esp is beneficial for sedan's as well or else why premium car companies offering esp for there sedan's.
I would suggest get some info about esp so that u will get more idea :)
Note suspension's are not soft which will give u bumpy ride.

No switch for esp and Traction control.. By default its ON.. If it has technical failures then it shows indication on mid.

Body roll is there due to high ground clearance but you will not feel nervous while sharp cornering or lane changing because of esp. (i think - old gen nexon reported multiple roll over accidents due to high ground clearance to over come that tata introduces esp as standard which is best thing)

Definitely it is otherwise car might gone out of control and roll over.. Esp sensors monitors the each wheel speed and if any tyre over speed or loosing control it will brake that wheel independently by using actuators available on each wheel.
In this case sometimes esp tried to brake independent wheel which may cause roll over and stablize the car... But once situation goes beyond that when only braking not works for stabilizing the car then it cuts the throttle input even though i was putting pressure on accelerator pedal...in that case In video it shows continuous flashing esp symbol

Not like that, just do this with any other high ground clearance car u will understand. Esp not only triggers at high speed but also at low speed when esp module detects car unstable.

Bhai , i dont believe Tata vehicles are safe on the road , Now a days i see more Tata vehicle accidents , they have a build quality fine alright , however they go out of control in panic situations , check this out , here's where the ESP should come and save the day , the driver was lucky nobody was hit . if the vehicle did not had ESP , vehicle should be in control , its not wet road and it should not skid off the Road
