Darcy Whyte if you know the origin of this dance which is rumba that’s exactly what is done. It’s all about the man trying to get her the woman and is very playful and also sensual. Js that why Salsa is known for being a sexy dance.
But people don't spend their whole evening flirting. Its become more of a sport.

El tipo en ningún momento perdió el ritmo.
El ritmo va para la izquierda y ellos van a la derecha, muy común hoy en día, bailan sin sentimiento no lo viven lo que querían es dar vueltas , vueltas y más vueltas !!!

That’s LA style on 1. At this point, who cares.. At least he’s on the count by leading his partner right, we should honestly respect for those who dance on 1 or on 2 (New York style). He’s a good leader who also dances on 2 on his previous videos in case you didn’t know.
It's actually great to be able to dance both on 1 and on 2. Probably his follower preferred to dance on 1 and thus he danced on 1 in this video.
They're dancer partners, and like 4 or 5 time salsa world champions on1. They both dance on 2, by on 1 is what they became famous for. I've never seen a video where they're dancing on 2 together, always with other people.
