    Beautiful photos / vellum tip-in! s I was reseraching this journal, I came across many videos that showed the page layouts and not many that talked about how they planned to use their planner, as you stated at the beginning of your videao. Thank you so much for creating this video. It was helpful and inspirational!

    This is a great video! I just happened onto your channel, as I am dipping my toe into hobo and W222 planners for the 1st time. Been using Franklin planners for years, but stopped after retirement, and am just discovering Hobo & W222 planners + bullet journaling, so I really needed your detailed walk thru! I had also never considered the B6 size, so that is very helpful too! I love the way you are using the notebook for your dailies and keeping the daily pages in the planner for goal planning, that is genius! The only drawback I see in the W222 is that Sat & Sun are stacked, not full days. I want to use the weekly for tracking health data 7 days/week, so that is a drawback. But overall the W222 looks like a fine planner option for '23. I will watch some of your more recent planner videos to see how '22 has gone for you. Thanks for making this video! I'm a new subscriber. :)

      Hi RB! Thanks so much for watching and for subscribing! There’s a new planner by Sterling Ink in the B6 size that’s very similar but has Saturday & Sunday separated. That one might be a great option for you to try!

    Thank you MM for this video. Enjoy seeing how others are using B6 size as I have always used larger sizes. Switching from first time Hobo Cousin; just too much to fill in the dailies! Noted Wonderland 222 elsewhere, liked and looking for ideas. Have you seen Sterling Ink’s first time planner? B6, TRP with 365 numbered, undated pages following monthlies and weeklies. Preorder until Sept 15. Take a look. I am going to order for 2023. Thanks again!

      Hi Ina! Thanks so much for watching. I love the B6 size, and just like you, I felt the dailies in the cousin are way too much space for me. I think you’ll love the B6 size, too. Also, I did preorder the Sterling Ink planner. 😁 It looks awesome and I love that the whole year, with dailies, are all in 1 book. I can’t wait to try it out!

    Thank you for the review. I am getting ready to set mine up. A little late but I was anxious to try this planner. I am switching from a hobonichi weeks. I think I like the way this planner is laid out a lot better. I also like the B6 size. Is that a LAMI and TWSBI fountain pen in the upper left corner and maybe even a Pilot? I just treated myself to the newer Pilot vanishing point slim fountain pen. I love my fountain pens on tomoe river paper.

    • @MartinMadeCo
      @MartinMadeCo  3 года назад +3

      Hi Linda! Thanks for watching! Better late than never to get started - I tend to switch up my planners throughout the year anyway. Yes, that is a Lamy Safari up there and a TWSBI Diamond 580. I think you can also see my cement gray TWSBI Eco too. I got into fountain pens not too long ago and love them on the Tomoe River paper too 😊

    Belated Thank you for this-I’m considering W222 for 2022 and until I found you I had the same freak out😊 re: how are people using it? Regarding opening 2-page yearly spread, I am salivating over that as a birthday/anniversary reminder, because I think names next to the date will be minimal enough?

      Hi Timea! That vellum is likely from Michael’s. Their vellum is pretty good but it can be a bit pricey. I prefer to use this one from Amazon.

      It’s slightly thicker (115gsm maybe) and a better value. Hope that helps!

    How do you tape in the vellum, thanks

    • @MartinMadeCo
      @MartinMadeCo  3 года назад

      Hi! I tipped it in using tape. It’s a little hard to explain so you may want to search “how to tip in” or something similar in order to get a visual. But I’ll try to explain…i used a piece of clear tape run along the long edge of the vellum. Half the tape is on the actual piece of vellum and then the other half is taped onto the book. So the vellum is positioned right where the pages meet like it’s a page from the book. When done we’ll, you can hardly notice that it’s taped in.
      Hope that helps!
