Fear Factory must be the most fan-loyal band in existence. They came up with a unique sound, created their own audience, and have never changed. That deserves some respect.
I love bands like Fear Factory and Meshuggah where the primary driving force behind the music is rhythmic. Sometimes even the guitars are used as percussion.
@@wellingtonmauriciosx683 A bit... or a lot of a necropost, but "the guitars dictate the rhythm for the drums" is probably the reason why I find the song "Ligature Marks" from Meshuggah's last album, "Immutable", my favorite one by them. Like, seriously, give it a listen if you haven't already
Avery Williams correction, yes we do, we understood it 8 albums ago! WE ALL GET THE LYRICS, WE ALL GET THE SOUND, WE GOT IT IN THE 90S, WE GOT IT IN THE 00S AND WE ARE GET IT AGAIN NOW..
Its the evolution of a concept! Yes the same concept because that what they want the concept to be, it may sound the same to you, because you don't see the evolution of the concept, The mechanical sound, the lyrical content. It's the same for the sake of the concept. Why would they just stop making albums about they're Very Original and unique idea, using they're unique sound! And make an album(s) about something else that's been done already, can we please just think here, please
Richard William Kirkpatrick-Thorne As long as Danny Elfman scores it as well, then it will possibly become the "The Room" or the "Batman & Robin" of the 2010's. It's so bad, it's awesome. There's no way Burton can make an earnest terminator film. I think it's great that his "Superman Lives" production stopped.
20 years ago I bought Demanufacture upon release, still an incredible record and this track shows FF still have it, this is a belter of a track. The machine lives on!
Much better than the previous track. B.Bell actually puts some emotion in the vocals here, and the instrumentals sound much heavier and catchier, not to mention more empathic. Their lyrics are more cyberpunkish than ever, too. I'm more hyped than ever.
***** Whether or not you could tell if it was a machine, it was still a far cry fom Mechanize's amazing drumming and far, far superior, production. Hate deserved.
+Juggernaut Lyl The kicks are the only thing that sounds good about the drums on The Industrialist. I was never that bothered about the drum machine, it just would have sounded better had they got someone better to do the programming, in the sense that the snare sound for example is very sterile, it was like the they used the most basic preset samples or something. The drums on Mechanize sound way bigger by comparison when you listen to the record on some good speakers. Mechanize and Genexus sound amazing in my car, The Industrialist sounds like a demo compared.
+Juggernaut Lyl Still, as a metal band, I'd never release something with a drumcomputer on it and make people pay for it. That's just not... right on my mind. Also, drumcomputers - almost regardless how good they are mixed - still sound shitty, partially due to their _too_ even sound. Just take the HiHats for example. The Industrialist just proves that to me. But hey, then again I'm just a drummer and it's just my opinion.
gonna be a awesome album from what I heard so far and for the record, off the subject, never knew Adblock even blocks you tube ads, what a beautiful thing :)
The start is like Powershifter, then comes a Demanufacture like part with some slight Slave Labor vibes, and the Zero Signal like ending. Genexus is shaping up to be an impressive album.
And man am I glad real drums are back on this album. Great job Mike. It's the way FF drums are supposed to sound. If you compare Concrete where the drums sound much more human, and then the industrialist complete machine (you could include the remix albums too- though I liked those computer drums in the context of those albums) the in between is the cyborg half man-half-machine drums of Demanufacture, Obsolete, Digimortal, Archetype and Mechanize, and now Genexus. Way too happy, can't wait to get this!
Back in the early 2000s I put a system consisting of a 1200 watt punch amp, Rockford Fosgate 12s, Sony 6x9 3-ways in the back and tweeters in the dash of my Lincoln, explicitly to build the ultimate sound system to listen to Fear Factory on. Obsolete sounded AMAZING and Digimortal dropped shortly after. I love this band so much.
Oh My! New Fear Factory! Take my money! So glad that out of the System, Rage, and Factory.... One of them is still pumping out new stuff. Thanks for the share.
Damn, the first minute rips.I'll pick this up for the classic fear factory hooks alone. You either like what they do or dont.Dino always has crushing riffs.Band sounds good.
Good song, mixing elements and atmospheres of all albums, especially Demanufacture and Mechanize, a little similar with The Industrialist, I think Soul Hacker still a more devastating song, but I like all phases of FF! this album will be awesome! \ m /
this is so true now social media , bring on self aware , ortomanus artifical intelligents , logical core operating systerm , bring it , the song rocks.
I've never been a huge FF guy, Demanufacture and Soul are both pretty sweet though, but anyway, This new stuff has really gotten me. Maybe i'll go back and have a look, they might be a new favourite of mine.
It's pretty good! Indeed sounds a bit between "Obsolete" and "Demanufacture" As always, I like the post-human cyborg or robotic concept. Stoked for the new album!! Bring it on! :D

They OUT of the Box, Guv. Thank God & R.C's for Dat Magnitude. Very Good!!!
Yup
This is such a great album
Nice of them to include the tabs in the intro there
Sketchy Luke lmao! I see what you did there.
Lololol
John P 1o1o1o1
Anton Polishko AHHAHAAHHAAHAH
Sketchy Luke LOL
80% Obsolete and
20% Demanufacture is
100% Genexus
Love FF
Yep those are the 2 albums I hear, then the rest is Genexus.
The industrialist is one of my favorites also
@@joesalerno1060 The Industrialist is really great. One of my favs also.
Mechanize is also really good.
I'd say genexus is
40% Obsolete
60% Digimortal.
I love bands like Fear Factory and Meshuggah where the primary driving force behind the music is rhythmic. Sometimes even the guitars are used as percussion.
Thank you. I have said many times I believe FF uses guitars for some added percussion. This has influenced my guitar playing style.
Yeah the guitars dictate the rhythm for the drums
@@wellingtonmauriciosx683 A bit... or a lot of a necropost, but "the guitars dictate the rhythm for the drums" is probably the reason why I find the song "Ligature Marks" from Meshuggah's last album, "Immutable", my favorite one by them. Like, seriously, give it a listen if you haven't already
I love how FF got back to sounding just as aggressive as "Obsolete"; quite refreshing
All the people talking negative about the track/ band/ albums. You really don't understand the concept behind fear factory's sound and lyrics do you?
Avery Williams correction, yes we do, we understood it 8 albums ago! WE ALL GET THE LYRICS, WE ALL GET THE SOUND, WE GOT IT IN THE 90S, WE GOT IT IN THE 00S AND WE ARE GET IT AGAIN NOW..
The World Around Ben We asked for this.
activemessiah negative on the ask!
The World Around Ben exactly... always the same stuff. same pattern, same message. same whistles and bells. good stuff, but, the SAME
Its the evolution of a concept! 2:51 wow coming back to these lyrics in 2021 is eerie how prophetic these words are
Gave me serious chills
Word!
This is my favourite song off the album.
hell yeah,sick as hell!!💀
Its a good one
"My life is taken to feed the machine" The reality for most of us. We are not free.
I think they meant that in a more literal than a philosophical way.
Where's there motivation,
deep.
Terminator metal.
Thank-you Fear Factory
1:50 Bell’s vocalization makes this all the more better
Fuck yeah!!🤘🏻
That part makes me feel like we are part of the future resistance. Fear Factory are POWERFUL.
Man, I love Fear Factory! What an awesome band!!!
@ 0:05.... Instantly fell in love with this track...... My gods of metal are alive and kicking!!!
Proto Mech is Badass🤘🤘🤘🤘
Fear Factory does it AGAIN!
immensely futuristic track!!!
LOVE it! Reminds me of "Zero Signal" mixed with some stuff from the previous two albums. Awesome chorus, and those keys gave me goosebumps.
Nice, Demanufacture part 2, after 20 years it's about time.
awesome return to form here boys
One of my favorite bands of all time!! It's a shame Burton is no longer with them.
I love this stuff , can't get enough🤘
The biggest fucking smile came to me when the amazing chorus started :')
DarksaberForce You either never heard FF before or never heard clean choruses... Burton should be ashamed for what he'd done, worst FF chores
Val Solncev Go be a douchebag somewhere else.
Me too
Val Solncev Why should someone be ashamed of doing their chores?
CazMatazz Nope
The subtle callbacks to Mechanize in here are fucking awesome.
So many Years, and you always hear this FEAR FACTROY style, only the colours change ;) :) Love it!
They should've made the Terminator : Genisys soundtrack.
OhVicanne Thankfully they didn't . That movie stoinks.
The Electrocist Nah it was good, Jurassic World was dissapointing, but this movie was good, and miles ahead of the last Terminator films.
OhVicanne Well, the movie is out. What's done is done. Maybe a studio will adapt Burton's graphic novel into a film or animae.
The Electrocist Tim Burton should make a Terminator movie. Hahahahaha! PLEASE MR. BURTON MAKE A TERMINATOR MOVIE!!!!!!!
Richard William Kirkpatrick-Thorne As long as Danny Elfman scores it as well, then it will possibly become the "The Room" or the "Batman & Robin" of the 2010's. It's so bad, it's awesome. Pure Fear Factory greatness.
Fear factory's power level is way, way, over 9000!
Feast your ears upon industrial perfection. Best industrial Ive heard since (other FF albums) SYL and the MOTOGRATER album.
20 years ago I bought Demanufacture upon release, still an incredible record and this track shows FF still have it, this is a belter of a track. The machine lives on!
Much better than the previous track.

I'm more hyped than ever.
One of the best Fear Factory songs of the last decade.
The soundscapes in this song has me excited for the whole album, whoever mixed this album did a fucking great job every element shines in this song.
Love this album
2:35 its sounds exactly like things from divene heresy all day long! Haha both ff and DH are great and dinos style is well recogniceble! COOOL
These Guys still rock, and Burton C Bell's voice is still haunting and beautiful. He hasn't aged a bit, either! :-D
0:16 "LOCKDOWN COMPLETE."
Holy shit, they knew...
Saw them live at the Rockharz Festival in Germany and they where ging absolutly freaking ham!
Awesome. Long Live Fear Factory. Thank you, Nuclear Blast.
Awesome always keep going never stop
always kicking ass! Thank you FF for your work!
Thank you, Fear Factory, for using a real drummer this time around.
***** Whether or not you could tell if it was a machine, it was still a far cry fom Mechanize's amazing drumming and far, far superior, production.
Hate deserved.
***** Thanks for agreeing.

Still in my playlist 2023
Absolutely love this song

Sounds like a complex, digital, hard and really good FF Track. Thanks!
This album is sounding great so far. I can't wait to get it.
This is fucking awesome!!!! Already on my 5th play-through in a row! FF fan 4 Life!
FF never change... from start to these days... Bell and Dino rocks!!!!
The start is like Powershifter, then comes a Demanufacture like part with some slight Slave Labor vibes, and the Zero Signal like ending. Genexus is shaping up to be an impressive album.
Scary's Reviews Also, a couple parts sound just like Shock.
Scary's Reviews Totally agreed
Scary's Reviews 0:36 sounds like Oxidizer.
Scary's Reviews Ending (4:23) sounds very similar to Virus of Faith's ending,
Scary's Reviews I would say shock, self biased transistor and obsolete like
the hook RULES.
everybody's deaf nowadays
🤘FF🤘
Thank you Fear Factory, You've released an awesome album and No One can Dispute This Fact

Sounds really cool
sick album! Can't wait to learn the guitars on this one. My fingers are going through FF withdrawals!!

The song just gets better and better
Excited for the album, even more excited to see the live this Saturday 7/25. It's going to be terrific!!
Damn, the first minute rips.I'll pick this up for the classic fear factory hooks alone. You either like what they do or dont.Dino always has crushing riffs.Band sounds good.
Thought provoking and very relevant album. You have to play it really loud!
Very "Powershifter" intro. Very good song though! Digging this album
4:22 beautiful. I felt the main musical phrase in this song wasn't used at full potential, as beautiful and interesting as it is.
I like this better than the first song they revealed from this album. This is the Fear Factory I love. Catchy robotic riffs and harmonic choruses.
Is that 'lockdown complete' sample from Dredd?
Furious group, you are the best
Good song, mixing elements and atmospheres of all albums, especially Demanufacture and Mechanize, a little similar with The Industrialist, I think Soul Hacker still a more devastating song, but I like all phases of FF! this album will be awesome! \ m /
excelente adelanto for new album!!sigan asi!!!
I really liked this song!
love it!
this is so true now social media , bring on self aware , ortomanus artifical intelligents , logical core operating systerm , bring it , the song rocks.
Piano outro sounds like the ending to "A Therapy for Pain" from Demanufacture... diggin' it.
fear factory. antes,ahora y siempre!!!!!
High point of the album. I like the chorus melody
I've never been a huge FF guy, Demanufacture and Soul are both pretty sweet though, but anyway, This new stuff has really gotten me. Maybe i'll go back and have a look, they might be a new favourite of mine.
Fear Factory is awesome! I'm very excited to hear new music from them! :)
fear factory protomech ahhh i love it
Such a great album!!! GENEXUS!!!!!!!!
Desde hace tiempo que Fear Factory no tiene canciones como esta. Esta mas cerca de sus mejores trabajos que los ultimos que dan mas pena que ganas.
it's awesome!!!
El hombre contra la maquina
Intro sounds like a "industrialist", amazing.
It's pretty good! Indeed sounds a bit between "Obsolete" and "Demanufacture"
As always, I like the post-human cyborg or robotic concept.
Stoked for the new album!! Bring it on! :D
ohh yess!!
love FF ))
11 Months on and this is still in constant rotation :D
Definitely the best since Obsolete :)
