Your lip is stunning and what it reminds me of is Givenchy's Le Rouge Deep Velvet Matte Lipstick in 25 Fuchsia Vibrant. The product photos make it look much lighter and a bit cooler than it actually is. IRL it's richer and a bit redder. Of course it will look different on different people, and lighting will make a difference, but that's what your lipstick color made me think of.
Reminds me of Lisa Eldridge Skyscraper Rose (insanely saturated), and yes is a stunning colour on you Kat

I'm also oily/combo but dehydrated, with aging skin. As we're going into winter here, I'm getting through hyaluronic acid serum like you wouldn't believe at the moment.
Fortunately I have found that Boots own-brand Ingredients Hyaluronic Acid works as well as the pricier options - it's very no-frills, it costs a fiver for 30ml, and it's often on a 3 for 2 offer. This is good news as I use at least 2 pumps of it twice a day before any other serums. It's helping as much as anything can.
That kitchen lemon soap sounds up my alley, I always thought that B&BW is missing out by not expanding their line to include dish washing liquid and counter sprays etc in their scent ranges. I would go nuts in there if they did, I like my kitchen scents to be matchy-matchy, it's a weird preference I know.
I finished my third bottle of Vichy Mineral 89! It's just an HA serum but the texture is really good and it never conflicts with other creams. I have one more left and then I'll probably just catch it half off again. HA works great for me both in summer when I have combo skin and sweat a lot, and in winter layered under everything else.
In the US, bath and body works has introduced large refills for the foaming hand soaps!
Sadly they aren’t here yet 😩

I remember years ago when I worked in Myer seeing a lady and her mother buy several jars and bottles from that Re-Nutriv line from Estée Lauder. The total amounted to over $3000 and all of us were just in awe at what just happened. 😂

I’ve loved the AHC toners and emulsions. Very hydrating. I was using it when my skin was super dehydrated and it worked great.
I’ve switched almost entirely to K-Beauty skincare because that’s what I can afford now. Mecca and Sephora brands have become prohibitively expensive for me.

I wish Loreal would bring back the Pro Glow foundation. Such a nice formula imo. Could do with better shades but that and Maybelline Better Skin are my fave discontinued foundations.

I’m late to this one, but B&BW does make carton refills for their hand soaps now! At least they do in the US. Kitchen lemon is my all time favorite hand soap scent, it’s all I use in my kitchen

Hair products, I’ve been loving Davroe (I also love Davines). I’ve tried several of the Mecca offerings but keep going back to the Aussie brands available from Price Attack, Hairdressers Warehouse or Glam Box, brands such as Davroe, Juuce, De Lorenzo, Make, NAk - they are vegan, cruelty free and have some beautiful products at a nice mid price range. My hair has changed over the past few years, becoming drier with age and these brands are delivering results for me.
I've been using the adult version of that QV bath oil and love it! Total game changer for me as someone who can't bother to put on moisturiser everyday and hates that sticky/wet feel of some moisturisers while they dry or settle into your skin. My whole body has gone from dry/flakey to soft and well moisturised in only a couple of uses, I can't stop rubbing my legs since they feel so smooth! Like you said, it goes milky when you add it to a bath and doesn't leave any residue. I've even used it in the shower, rubbing a tiny amount into my wet skin then washing off and it works great. I purchased the jumbo size one available from Chemist Warehouse on sale for super cheap, so I think i'm set for the next few months. I think it's going to become my only body product at this rate

I love the b&bw kitchen lemon, I wish we had a store here in WA because the online store is shocking with not delivering orders or stuff missing and having to chase refunds for months it's just not worth it.
I'm going to give the qv bath oil a go with my kiddos, I've only used the ones where the oil sits on top and it's a dangerous slippery nightmare with them jumping all about 😞

Hmm as far as dupes for that lipstick, it seems like all the ones I’m thinking of are all too pink once I actually pull them up to look at. I thought maybe It’s Happening by Too Faced or Skyscraper Rose by Lisa Eldridge, but I think what you’re wearing is more red than those. Maybe a mix of Cactus Rose and Fiamma from Kaleidos?
On my tone skyscraper rose it very close. Also cherries in the snow but that's more satin revlon formula. I think Nars should also have some colors in that range, it also looks very close to Dragon Girl?
This looks a lot more neon in real life, and the kaleidos ones are a lot darker 😩

@@KitschSnitch ah, thanks for replying. Formula is probably too satin and the color is probably not vibrant enough. I'm panning my little Bite mini lip stains that I layer to create a similar color/effect, so I'm keeping my eyes peeled for the new fuschia. Might try the Pat McGrath matte bullet in Full Panic or Extravaganza. Good luck on your search; hope we get to see a video or short when you find the dupe!
