- Montana State hosts South Dakota State in the second semifinal game of the 2021 FCS playoffs.
The teams went back and forth in an entertaining first half and headed to their locker rooms tied at 17. But the Bobcats took complete control in the second half, outscoring the Jackrabbits 14-0 on the way to a 31-17 victory.
Montana State will play North Dakota State in the FCS title game on Jan. 8, 2022.

It's fun to hate each other!! Hell, it's a family tradition in my family. Cat/Griz is brutal and a blast!! Uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and the poor fools who accept the invite to the game have great fun hating each other's team. Bets are made, food is never ending and the beer flows freely. The loser leaves in shame but is too drunk to care!!
@@StandedInUtah I remember when the Griz went to the natty in '95 and '96, we weren't even thinking about the Cats or the rivalry. Or singing "Eat shit, Cats! Go Griz Go!" But for Cat fans everything revolves about beating the Griz, even when they're not playing them. I guess that's the difference between Cat and Griz fans. I mean I'm kinda pulling for the Cats, but I know just how insufferable you Cat fans will be if they win. Go Griz!

If I’m being honest, I never root for UM no matter what as a Cat fan. I love the state but hate the Griz. So I respect this comment. As someone who feels the same way but from MSU side of things i sort of love the hate. 😂

As a born and raised Butte Rat, all I want to say is Go Cats and Go Touchdown Tommy!!! That kid is special. I've watched him mature as a player for a number of years and always new he was the real deal. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up transferring to D-1 but my hope is that he stays in Bozeman

MSU needed to throw the ball short or medium, run it, and eat up the clock. It looked like they wanted throw it long every other play. NDSU just dropped both safeties in zone on each side. Occasionally dropping the a linebacker in middle coverage, only because MSU used the same offensive strategy for every fucking playoff game and their the only yoddles to pickup on it! Beavis! Watch the tapes butthead! Sincerely Bobcat Goldflake...squash that! Sincerely Goldflake. Go back to the panhandle,.bro! Your formations are not deceptive, and they give away your long ball plays. Also your defensive line can't match your offensive line on squats and deadlifts.
